And Mrs Horse was boasting she taught Ol' Dobbin everything he knows about Datsuns.

Oh Lordy Lordy. Mrs Horse in her chair on the porch darning Ol' Dobbin's socks while he ploughs the fields with the Datsun. The Waltons come to Canberra.

Go ahead and laugh - ha ha ha. She has a micro business - more power to her.
And you better hope she doesn't see that post or you'll be singing falsetto. I suggest you be nice to me so I don't tell her.

In the year of 1762 the demoralised German forces remaining on Aztec land retreated westward away from the remains of their destroyed fortifications. However it was to no avail as the Aztec cannoneers destroyed them utterly.
A greek, formerly Sioux city was then stumbled upon and promptly captured although this was then destroyed by the greeks.
From 1764 to the present time the Aztec navy has been envolved in numerous battles, initially taking heavy losses. In recent years the tide has turned and German and Greek losses have escalated. Naval casualties are summarised below.
Aztec
Transport 2
Cruiser 8
Destroyer 9
Submarine 1
German
Transport 5
Cruiser 7
Destroyer 8
Submarine 0
Greeks
Transport 1
Cruiser 3
Destroyer 0
Submarine 0
Add to this the mutiny of several german and greek cruisers and it is easy to see that even the combined might of the hydey ho alliance is insufficient to conquer the indomitable Aztecs.
The Aztec navy has also successfully destroyed thirteen german military units found wandering within Aztec waters without sufficient protection.

The Aztec government wishes to welcome any greeks who wish to visit our fair shores.
We find it strange for a country with a military half the size of its enemy boasting of an impending attack.
Perhaps they should be more concerned with keeping what little territory they have rather than filling the air with empty and laughable bravado. The morale of the greeks must be at an all time low when they were soundly pushed into the sea and off the Aztec continent.

and Hydey, from memory Makeo, Deity and I were pretty good at showing up, it was the rest of the hangers on who found it hard to commit.

As the amazing powers of Apolyton fail to fix the problem with the great Raz's login... I am the Fully Authorized Spokesperson for the Mad monks...
Looks to me like Makeo is once again showing why he is feared from coast to coast,, (apart from his foul breath and foot odour) He once again has the world on hte backfoot, and this time he wont make the same mistake again !!!!!!

Don't know about that Raz, he's a pretty feckless character - only likes to play when he's winning, doesn't cope with setbacks well.

So you wouldn't consider the loss of two cities and the destruction of another as well as incursion far into my continent by Deity a setback.
Must everything you say be an untruth?

If we revive this game can we put a timer on please? Five players on a large map needs some parameters if we are going to get through more than one turn per night. Alternatively I'm not averse to finishing this one by E-mail if someone would show me how. Then we could a start a new "live" game on a small map

It's not the map size that's the problem, Horse. Any game that gets to this late stage and involves large-scale war will take an eternity. Roll on nukes.

How can the war be large scale when I haven't been involved yet? If I get involved under the current laissez faire it will be one turn per night - if that.

I meant large scale in terms of the size of the respective armies and navies. You're right, though, if anyone else got involved we wouldn't get a single turn done in a night.
