dunno...
but here goes...
Adding Images
To add a graphic within your message, just encase the URL of the graphic image as shown in the following example (UBB Code is in red).
[SEE THE UBB code explantion]
In the example above, the UBB Code automatically makes the graphic visible in your message. Note: the "http://" part of the URL is REQUIRED for the [img] code. Also note: some UBB forums may disable the [img] tag support to prevent objectionable images from being viewed.

M-hm. Okay. Now, having read that, I have a question. So how do you take a screen shot and then put it in a thread?

OK, here's how I do it: press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. This creates an image of the screen in the Windows paste buffer. Open the Windows Paint program, and paste in the screen image using Ctrl-V or the pull-down menu command. Select the portion of the screen you want to display, paste it into another copy of Paint, and save it as a .GIF (smaller file = faster page load). Next, upload the .GIF file to a website. Right-click on the shortcut to the file once it's uploaded, and select "copy shortcut". Paste that URL into your message, surround it with the appropriate [img=] stuff, and voila!

errrrr.... thanks Smash
Mac users can also press and release:
Command(Apple)+shift+4+capslock
then click the window to create a pic of a window only
This is most suitable for civ.
Most new Macs also have the F13.printscreen key as well, I think....

Note to self:don't ask The DEITY for any computer help
Are you entitled to any free web space thru your isp?If so contact them to activate it.
If not, check out one of those "100mb of free web space" sites. Most require no programing knowledge at all. But,some don't allow "outside" linking.
I have one here http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/ amongest others.
Its probably best to save your image as a .jpeg first.
then:
[IMG]http:your-url.com[IMG]
add a / before IMG in the second one.
Macintosh users-can take pictures by pressing command+shift+3 for the entire screen or
command+shift+4 for specific areas.
As a Apolyton user I would rather see just a url link to the image.IMGs take forever to load.

You misread hyperbole, Hydey. Truth be told, I'd have to work very hard to exceed the limit.

Here's another way to do it: If you have Paint Shop Pro, it has a "capture" feature which allows you to get whatever you want from what's on your screen. It's a little quicker than the method Dave was describing. But unfortunately, PSP isn't shareware or anything...
