You obviously are not married since you still have a desire to get horizontal frequently

I may can do a start tonite.
U'll probably need some 2x civ-fodder anyway, rite?
I'll be cruising off & on. If nothing moves on the T of T or "Pluel II" posts / games I'd definately like to get some play in after all this time.
Buzz me if U need another.

But you definately suggested the plural earlier. Are you hording them? No wonder there aren't enough to go around! Just because I'm kneeling under the desk whapping bats with a ruler and have a cat sitting on my head, that doesn't mean I can't have a girlfriend too!

Yes i did mean plural, my mistake their, and no i am not hording them, so much as storing them for rainy days, we get alot of that in Vancouver.
As far as whapping bats and wearing cathats, i would think that would attract your own horde of women
hey my quote worked, now how do i multiple quote from different posts in the same thread, and how do i quote like Cavebear did from my post and not quote the whole post?
Do i have to highlight what i want? Someone throw me a bone hear

Merc...
If you ever see another poster do something that you don't know how to do... Just hit the edit button on the post you are interested in. No, only mods and admin can edit other peoples posts, but you will see exactly what was done to get the effect that you are trying to learn.
And, I might be up for a game tonight as I watch the returns come in... anybody else interested?

Mercantile - Ming's advice is good for most tricks you see in someone else's posts; I've learned a lot by editing posts made by other people.
For your specific question, though, I think the answer won't be apparent from editing. To delete those portions of a post you don't want to quote, you can either just move the cursor there and delete them with the delete key, or select (either by click-dragging the mouse or by using shift-arrow, shift-ctrl-arrow, shift-end, etc.) and delete them. The process for including multiple quotes is similar: you can highlight the quote in your post, copy it to a new location, delete the text, and replace it with text you copy directly from another post (by scrolling the screen down to the original thread, or from another window). Then edit the poster's name and the time and date of the post.
Edit: of course, editing a quote makes the entire process suspect - you can alter someone's original words, or fabricate an entirely fictitious post...

Ming and Dave, thanks for the tips, i will be sure to try them out, probably with little success at first
As for a game tonite, count me out, i am taking a girl out for dinner and i am sure her idea of a date is not rotten rons and a four hour civ movie

It's Friday. BUT I will not be at Mings tonight since I will be heading out to the River Boat
So unless I lose a lot of money real quick, I will be unable to play tonight. I'll check on the boards and Icq when I get home, but don't wait for me.

Are you playing with Ming tonite on the riverboat? I am not around either tonite, and i don't think Ming is around this weekend either. Oh well, might as well put in some work with the girlfriends and get some free brownie points
