Fading suns: noble armada demo! better than imperium galactica II demo in all ways ;)
The beta demo for the new fading suns game noble armada has been released. Yaaahhhh! Download it NOW, then procede to find and report the many fatal bugs so that it will be released sooner
This will be a definative space fleet combat game, qed.

I'm salivating just thinking about this game.
Unfortunately, at 48 megs the demo is too big for my crappy modem, so I'll have to wait until it's on a magazine cover CD.
BTW, does anyone play the miniatures game?
Any information on figures for other house fleets than those in the box?

Well, this is one game I will NOT be buying.
I've tried the demo several times now, and in the tutorial either just before or just after landing on the first planet I lose the ship and can't find it. I can't move the camera to a point where I can see it and I can't fly it anymore.
If this demo is any indication, this game is gonna be DOA.

I downloaded the demo twice. When I tried to "unpackage" it, both times I was informed that it was a "corrupted" version and to try downloading it again.
