Will they fix Ultima 9?

Does anyone know?
I heard Richard Garriot (AKA Lord British) quit origin, and it was his baby. Does that mean that Origin has given up on it entirely?
I know it had obscene system requirements, but I hope to be able to pick up a copy in a few years when I can run it, and be able to finally finish the great series.
but have they thrown it out and will never make that great game playable?

They already did dude. They sent me a revised version of Ultima IX... both disks fixed of bugs. They sent it to all those who registered with them.

Do those disdks fix more than what is fixed in patches available online? I got the disks too, but I haven't even looked at them yet, I won't do that 'til I reload U9.
