Best Business Sims?
I thought it might be interesting to try a biz sim and I was wondering which are the best business sims out there . Brief reviews would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I'd recommend Capitalism or Capitalism Plus. This is a detailed business sim written by Trevor Chan (Seven Kingdoms).
I think you can still get Cap Plus direct from www.enlight.com and I saw capitalism on the underdog abandonware site. That's at http://underdogs.gamingdepot.com/

John-SJ - I went to the underdog site, and they now have CapPlus and also Fantasy General. Downloading now.

I've tried 3 times to DL Capitalism + this weekend and have been booted at the 10-13 meg mark thrice. I did DL Entreprenuer from Underdog, but ran into a copyright (CD check) problem at the beginning of the new year.

Could somebody help me with the Buzz Aldrins Race To Space I've been trying to download from the Underdogs?
Each time it gets to around 3 megs (or 30% - cant recall which one), it suddenly finishes the download, and when I try to uncompress it, WinRAR says 'Unexpected End Of File'.

Capatalism Plus sounds cool! Just for the books, I got about 85% through the d/l last night using GetRight, and had no problems.

Yeah both Cap+ and Ent. sound great but I had a problem downloading Cap+. and unzipping Ent.Most frustrating.
Could someone tell which are the good download managers and unzip programs and where I can download them for free?
Actually all this is such a hassle that I would be more than willing to pay 10 or 20 bucks for one of the games but unfortunately my local Software etc doesn't either game. Is there any reliable online store where these games can be purchased?

What's with the 20 .zip files inside the downloaded file? And then the .rar files inside that? By the time I uncompressed everything and ran it, it had errors! And I had to do so many things to get it uncompressed in the first place, I don't know if/where I've done something wrong!
Has anyone successfully installed Cap+ off the Underdog site? If not, has anyone installed in successfully off another site? I'd prefer not to have to download another 25 odd meg though.

Dinopark Tycoon Rules!
I remember, one time, I had this REALLY great park going. . . It was great! I even managed to scrape enough money together to get some televised ads! I had conrete, electrified fencing, the highest types of bathrooms, gift stand, AND restaraunt, it was great!

It is pretty sad that no one (including me!) has mentioned Railroad Tycoon in a "best business sim" thread by now. I never played #1, but #2 was loads of fun - especially on sandbox mode.
I downloaded lots of maps and spent a bit of time at the RRT2 discussion group at... oh, one place or other (and it wasn't sidgames!). My favorite map was Antarctica because it had lots of room for expansion.

Yes. I downloaded it last night, unzipped the 20 zips from the big zip, unzipped the 20 zips into a temp directory, and then ran winrar.
It runs fine, although it is missing some/all the tutorial games...

Xuenay, try using GetRight or GoZilla!.
I have had problems downloading things from
Underdogs recently. Maybe it is becuase of
the traffic.
PS: you really want Buzz Aldrin Race into space? It is fun, but it also is hard and somewhat frustrating! Too much randomness.

Well, I tried it again, and just like last time, I had some problems. The game itself will run, but the "Instructional Game" crashes. I tried to figure out what I should be doing myself, but I got lost very quickly. Can anyone run the tute? Or know how to play it?
