Try any of the following:
http://www.mallofthesims.com/
http://thesims.xtremesimz.com/
http://www.simzonline.com/
There are more, just follow links to other sim sites on any of those sites, or go to the official site www.thesims.com and follow links from there...

Hi, thanks for the webs
...
Well my Sim is pretty normal...He is a politician, with 3 promotions until now. I found out that having 2 or 3 points of charisma makes communication pretty succesfull, I hardly get negative relation points any more. He fall in love with 2 Simgirls and married one of them . BTW who can they get a baby?
If I have time I will write a full story...

Thought I'd try this game one more time. It's only a few days into the game. This is the house I'm starting out with. It's small and simple but everything is within a short walk (and since walking to the bathroom takes 10 minutes...)

It's somewhat clean because I do have the maid come in while he's at work. Oh, this is Joes house - Joe Blow.

Has anybody tried to create a lesbian commune yet? I did. Not very sucessful.
Also:
My bachelor/working girl/councilwoman got a married woman to move in, but now the roomie is lazy, depressed and breaking down constantly, even though I added on an upstairs apartment compete with bathroom, bed and TV. I'm thinking of electrocuting here or having her husband remarry her again.
I'll take screenshots and show you the house

Not sure how you guys play this game, but I actually play with a bunch of different families, off and on... and I never make them move into each other's homes, I don't like that option to be honest.
If one of my couples is getting ugly kids, I don't let them go to school, so that they get sent off to military school after a while
Here are some screenshots of my Sims game...
Check out my my neighborhood to see the houses I've created so far...
I'm especially proud of the 2 houses to the left. Those are the only two I've used the money cheat on to build them up to that level...
The other 4 houses (excluding the standard newbie and Goth families) have been created without any cheats whatsoever... The one to the lower left is currently worth $100,000
Next, look at the ground floor of my "log cabin"... I've put a couple in there with appropriate clothing.. Most of the house is standing on poles (ok, the game doesn't require those, but it looks so fake to have a completely floating house ) Notice that from the street the only way into the house is to climb the stairs in front of the fence. Then from the entrance on the first floor my sims can go into the house and then down to the ground floor again in order to reach the other parts of the house.
I definitely like this house the best

My game is going rather nicely. I have a nice couple, the man has just been promoted to Criminal Mastermind (the top of the Life of Crime career track) They don't have kids yet, and I don't want kids right now, I'm about to start the girl into the Law Enforcement career track. I've got a nice sized house, and a few nice things, i havn't gone ALL out. I've moved a few times, thats why i have a bit less money that I should at this point. She should fly up the career path because she's had plenty of time (in between making friends) to get real good in most of her skills. . she paints quite a bit and is selling paintings for 100+$. . He's a bit of an anti social, but they get along great with each other. I just built a pool in the back, and at the pool party one of my friends drowned. Oh well, he kept hitting on my wife anyway, the bastard. It's quite a fun game.

Mwahahaha! I wonder if the probability of someone dying at your pool parties goes up if you're a crime lord?

Anyone had created an Apolyton Sims City for download?
Maybe everyone can provide his parameters and let others 'sim' them.
I better go create a 'Sims parameters' thread in off-topic forum. [grin]

How to move? Simple, evict them from the house they currently reside in, then the family can move into another house. Pay attention to the family value, you've got to have enough to buy the new house, plus furnish it again, you don't take your things with you.
