WWII Era 1st Person Shooters
Anyone know of any on the pc? I've got "Medal of Honor" for the Playstation, but I've been spoiled by pc graphics to the point that I don't even look at my 'station.
I've just bought this violent one called "Soldier of Fortune", good 'n bloody, but I realized that I don't want to shoot at these auto-machineguns. You know, these stupid 007esque gatling guns on motion sensors. Call me old fashoned, but I need a human behind those guns to shoot at. And what better people to shoot up than those Aryan Embarrasments!
Anyone know of lessr known WWII era 1st person shooters worth the price?
Thanks

I think a new Wolfenstein is coming out this fall for the PC. It's based on the movie "Where Eagles Dare": a soldier escapes and has to fight his way through a castle as he confronts copious amounts of nazis. I played the DOS version a few years back - it was a pretty good game.

Wolfenstein was the predecessor to DOOM.
It started the FPS revolution.
Wolfenstein 4-D or something like that is coming out this fall.
I suggest you wait for that.

Hey thanks Warvoid.
I managed to pick up this cheesy game, that gives me a little stisfaction...
Beach head 2000, you're basically in a pillbox and have to repel waves of invaders with a machine gun. But there are helicopters and jet planes...ARGH!

I have one..not Super..but not a total dud either..called MORTYR..by Mirage/Interplay.
You go back to Nazi Germany to help change History..like I said Not Top Shelf but a decent game.
On a Scale of 1-10..10 being Best..I'd give this a 6.5-7.25
