Maybe too early?

Still, interesting to see what comes out of it...

Early??? To swoop in for a kill??? Where did I go wrong? Oh, I remember. It was... 1. e2-e4. Why
did I ever start this? My psyche can't take much more of this.

What's that? Why don't I resign? Because any second I expect a Barbarian landing at h1 to take you unawares. Or are we not playing "Raging Hordes"?

LOL!

Hm, that was a good move...

Although being a standard defensive move in many positions similar to this one, I didn't anticipate it...

En passant

I don't know if I should write 23. e5xd5... instead of 23. e5xd6..., but I don't think so?

I envision a future where I have no Queen and black no Rocks...

Will it materialize?

How about... 23. e5xd6 e.p. ?

No Rocks? Was that a typo, would Freud be proud, or are you just plain trying to neuter me? I'm hoping you meant 'Rooks'.

Black resigns.

Cue the Funeral March.

FRENCH CIVILIZATION DESTROYED BY CELTS!

Yeah, I know, the French are dark blue. There's no black in Civ2. I guess I could have said AMERICAN CIVILIZATION DESTROYED BY SWEDES!

Seriously, excellent game, Carolus. While I'd like to say that the outcome was due to my not having played in a while, I'm sure it was much more a function of you being the better player in this game. You kicked my butt!!

Good game! [offer hand]Shake hands[/offer hand]

While I could possibly prolong the agony a few more moves, you were going to be up at least a bishop, maybe a rock , and mate was just around the corner. Not having seen a picture of you (and being a strict heterosexual), the prospect of mating with you was the last thing I was looking forward to.

Once again, good game. Truly. I'm impressed. Okay, Smash, he's all yours. Good luck. I'll get back in line for my next turn.

The King is dead! Long live the King!

Hail, Carolus. And all the other sappy sayings that we can come up with. And in case you all didn't notice... he's good!

Thanks for the game, "matey"!

Seriously, it was fun. Your comments in the post above are way too generous.

Maybe we can get a MP game going (Civ that is)?

Cheers!

I think I'll play black this time, if that's ok with you?

After you, Sire.
