This might be a good time to start lining up the next challenger. While I would love to take my place at the front of the queue, I would be more than willing to defer to any newcomers who would like a piece of this action.
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Battle of Hastings? Anyone?
And if no one steps up to the plate, I would love a rematch or new challenge. All I ask is that this time I get to be "shirts".

Lets' see if I can keep this initiative rolling.....
I would like to see a KC/CR rematch with colors reversed of course.
In fact I see no reason why one couldn't play multiple games simultaneously with this format.
btw-do you think the powers that be around here are pleased or displeased by a thread like this?(or Clash of Titans)
For me it is better than 80% of off-topic.

No winner moves on? Are you conceding already?

I had a hard enough time making one game competitive. Multiple games? I can only take so much defeat in one day.

Amen to that. While I have been know to post in off-topic, most of the people in there are weird. Then again, I just 'fessed up to posting there myself, didn't I?

What? My body isn't even cold yet, in fact I'm still struggling in this game, and the vultures flock already???
To me the natural thing is that the winner takes on the next challenger, unless we have an outstanding player that wins everything. More fun if everyone plays with everyone.
Maybe the knight should have retreated to a7 instead of d4? Looks very passive, but after c7-c6 maybe it comes back into play?
Oh well...
I will not post in a couple of days, have to edit a paper before submitting it to a journal.
My next move may need some thinking too...

I was thinking the knight would retreat to d8 then move to e6.

That pawn is numb, deaf and he can't write. He will not be of much use to you...
I'm pretty weak along the b-line, b6 isn't exactly a strong hold...
