Imperium Galactica I
Found it for some $5, but unfortunately without a manual on the two CD's. Therefore, two questions:

[1] Is there a manual available from somewhere, anywhere??
[2] How can I install the sound? It is asking for "base address", "IRQ" and "DMA", I have no idea what to fill in. Autodetect doesn't work.

2) These numbers are usually 220, 5 and 1 if you're using a Sound Blaster compatible card. However, the infromation should be available under Control Panel->System Properties->Device Manager (or whatever), look at your soundcard's settings.

Looked at the settings (ancient memory being refreshed ), but they are not conclusive as they give more than one IO-range and DMA. It does limit the possibilities. Thanks!

I would suggest rerunning the auto-detect for something you already have installed. They usually tell you the settings detected. Should be the same for other apps.

Regarding the manual for IG, you're probably out of luck as its too old to be commonly available on a warez site and probably too young to be found in abandonware.
In any case it really isn't much good at all. About the only useful things it tells you is which of the function keys (F1 - F10) bring up which screen (starmap, colony, production etc) and most of that you can find easily enough from trial and error.
Best of luck in any case...

Thanks Ravagon, I guess I'll have to find out the hard way. At least I have already detected the most important command: PAUSE!

The settings -- but not Snapcase suggested seem to work, although the sound is not great.
