Definately go for it. It's highly addictive like the drugs I wish you could grow as cash crops on Tropico.

Dang, what a bummer!

Jaakko,

You actually like Majesty? It's one of the worst game I have ever bought. Life span on my computer: < 1 hour.

Does any of you ever played Hidden Agenda? (to be found at www.theunderdogs.org)

If I'm correct, HA ressembles Tropico conceptually a bit, although I assume that Tropico may be less complex yet more playable and polished. Am I correct?

Hidden Agenda? Nope, never played it.

Got Tropico and started my first real game. Set everything to default except victory condition, which is "open-ended."

Won my first election fair and square as a Communist leader, not bad for a newbie

I found that:

1. The first thing you want to build is probably a construction office. You will need lots of construction workers early on in the game.

2. Structures far away from construction offices will be built, eventually. Just that the workers take a long time travelling to and fro.

3. The manual is filled with errors, at least in the reference section, where it matters

Question:

What good are roads?
