Yeah, Black definitely has a slight edge in this ending and he can play with no serious risk of losing !

Steinitz would never have castled in the first place !
I'm doing my little Nimzowitchian imitation : the open center file must be occupied !

I just noticed my 22nd move has become Rh1 when it was Kh1.I posted Kh1 so somehow you changed it.No problem just want to clarify that.
I have been surprised(somewhat) by your last 2 moves. They are not the moves I would have made which means they are probably good moves

Sorry for the King, it is "Roi" in french, so my mistake. Thanks for the clarification.
My last 2 moves looked logical to me. The choice I made was with 21 h3+ instead of 21 hxg3, at least I think. After the game, I'll be curious to see what you were expecting. But maybe my moves are not very good. It is tough to find a plan in this position.

Spent two days making the moves on the board, but could not reach a definitive opinion. Black is better, I think, but I cant guarantee the win.

I'd agree with that assessment.I've felt black's advantage for some time now.
Its tight though. You were supposed to take d4 way back when
I'm inclined to offer a draw and in effect accept defeat but then my fun/agony is over
Is anybody waiting in the wings?

I'm still here, but I believe that I'm farther down the list yet. I may have missed several games, since I have been tied up with other things, but I don't think that I have.

I think Ken would be next and with the white pieces, and then Kcbob, and then Carolus. That is unless somebody else shows interest.

I spent a few days thinking about your draw offer. But it's either too early or too late ! Too early because there is no obvious draw and too late because I deem that I have no risk of losing (on move 15th I might have seen things differently). Besides all that, I thξnk that I have found the direct path to victory ...
I'm sorry but to me it would look quite dishonest to draw in this position

Well..ok.I thought we would give each other an early X-mas gift
I will not force you to demonstrate over the next 20-25 moves.White is completely busted.
I resign.
Thank you for the game.I must improve if I am going to present a challenge.
My mistake came early again.Nd2 is an unsatisfactory answer to Nd4.The chop is better but I made the mistake of trying to muddle when that just won't work in this format.I wasn't real enthusiastic about my 12th move either.
Long live the King.
