I'm really getting to hate icq lately

Yeah I know what you mean....Does anyone know how to back up your contact list?

I had to reinstall ICQ yesterday and I couldn't seem to find a file containing my contact list to back up.

Now I have to find everybody again! GRRRR!

I think the easiest way is to make a copy of your database folder (usually "icq\2000b" or "icq\2000a" if your latest install was 2000a for example)

Then replace the newly created files after you've run the setup again and registered your UIN - and voila: all your contact list and history should reoccur.
