What's more, I thought it was Warmoger closet you were dis-cussing and found one at an antique shop recently, and reasonably priced. They could not positively trace it directly back to the Kahn family, but the "G K" carved into the foot board is still conidered to be the initials of the Great Kahn himself by handwriting analizers.
Speculation has it that it was more of a trophy for a sort of Warmonger of the Year award givin by the former United Provences of The Central Asian Steppes rather than any sort of personal property built by or for the former Kahn.
It is also speculated that the Kahn's lost the award to a band of Vikings taking a "shortcut" home in the tradition of Viking shortcuts and were at the time of running into the Kahn's troops, well, a bit grouchy as it were. Possibly explaining a second engraved "Bergen or bust" in runic symbols.
