I'm almost at the end .. Err I mean our game is almost at its tragic end and I feel I'll miss it *sigh*
I'd like to propose that all losers of the first round play against each other to claim for the lower half of the scoreboard.
This would probably mean more work for our beloved tfs99 but if he agrees it would provide some more fun and a champion under the losers !

Hey! You weren't supposed to finish that fast. How many turns did the game end up going? Man, I expected these games to take at least two weeks of real time. But I know by the .SAV submissions that you guys have really gone at it!
>>>>> Pawnie
A second bracket for the first round losers is definitely a possibility. It depends on the level of interest. See what you can do to rally the "losers", once the rest of the games start finishing.

Hey, Ted, I believe that we MIGHT b going 2 need 2 find me an alternative opponent. Thingol, it seems, isn't able 2 find enough time 2 even start. It's a shame. It seemed from the game that crashed that he would have been a worthy adversary.
Awaiting instructions...

I got the message from Nell. The ranks of first round winners just swelled by 100% to 2!
>>>>> Bolbol
I'll get right no finding an alternate. I have a few people lined up. All depends on who responds the quickest. Shouldn't take too long.
>>>>> Goob (Thingol)
No problem. We can all identify with SMACaddiction and the trouble it can get us into. Look forward to squaring off someday over PBEM.

Thingol, AKA Goob here, (why did I pick a differant nickname???)
Anyway what Bolbol is saying seems to be true, We haven't crossed paths well and the weeknights that have stayed up late enough to have played, had we met in cyberspace, I was way to out of it at work the next day.
I should have listened to the voice of reason at the beginning, but SMAC addiction prevailed.
Bolbol I apologize, and I hope you find an adversary as well, Ted You have a great idea here and I apologize for being a weak link in it.
Goob
maybe one of the first round loser would want a second chance? (or is that a very bad idea)

Hey, Ted. How's everyone else doing? Tetunge and I started on Sunday night and got about 12 turns in until he (as he was hosting) got d/c. We should b playing some more tonight and probably all through the rest of the week, I don't know if Tetunge has sent u the SAV file or not but I'll make sure he knows about it when I c him. Anyway, keep those bases producing, lads!
