Aredhran's Challenge Turns
This thread is dedicated to posting the "Turn sent to ..." messages for my Challenge, and hopefully will help us keep track of the saved game as it goes around, while reducing the number of messages everyone gets in their mailboxes.

Where is the turn currently, I have played about 2 turns so far, last one was last Friday. Not that I am Grumpy, (nothing worse than a grumpy Goob) but it would be nice to know.

I just received a note from Yin (Believers) that he has sent the game to MoSe, so it must be sitting in our friend's mailbox in Milano. The turn will resume Monday when he gets to work
I think for future challenges, we'll try to stick with less players to avoid such latency in between turns...

Well, sad to inform you
(hey, that's nice around here! but where's everybody?)
that I sent my last turn Monday Apr 26, early morning,
and that a week later no sign of the next one.
I only found in my mailbox the turn from Glakians (along w/ couple of dozen SMAC notes).
Now it's lunch time, no news yet.
First turn took 3h from Yin's timestamp to my mailserver reception. 2nd turn took only 2h.
Do you think I should prompt Yin to resend the file?
MoSe
er.. I meant MariOne
at last I can EDITH my posts...

It it so nice to have my name remembered by the forum...
Morgan Industries are feeling an unwanted sense of work slowdown, they may even suffer some plant closure. We have already started laying off all the extra startegists and tacticians hired at the beginning of the game.
Ultimately I guess that patience will win out.

Don had to drop out. I'll play for him until a replacement is found. cousLee, please send the turn to me. For details see thread "Message from dbrodale" in the MP forums at alpha.owo.com.

Hey i read above
that one of the players taking part
have quit.
If you want I can take his place.
I'm online everyday so I won't delay the
match at all.
However the downside is that this would be
my first time playing multyplayer, so
please explain me some things i might don't know.
And just to know my personal record in
single is 177% . I hope is good
My e-mail is grquake@gamebox.net
Waiting for your reply !

Sorry PROTOSS, but the free slot has already been taken.
For full details on this, go the the official SMAC forums, Multiplayer section, and check out threads "Message from dbrodale", "All Quiet on the Planet Front" and "CMN HEADLINE NEWS".
Next time maybe...
Best

turn sent to Jam ac>2133
Well, i still have a copy of the 2133 turn. Unsure if it is before I played it, or after. eitherway, if we have to go back, at least we won't have to go farther back than 2133hive.

Turn played and sent on to Colonel HMFIC in Atlanta.
Will not be able to play until Saturday night 5/8, in case this gets real speedy.

Goob, don't you remember you have a so-called Weekend Slacker in the queue b4 it gets back to you? Anyway, no trace of the turn by Europe's Mondays 1PM.
By the last weeks events in many PBEM, tell me now if it's me causing the most delays in the cahllenges...

MariOne, I had not thought about our favorite Weekend slacker when I posted that, I was just amazed that I had played 5 email turns in one day (from 4 games).
I have not seen you be the culprit of many delays.

Yin, which turn did you send me?
I already played and passed 2132!
I was excpecting 2133!
ViVicdi received from me his 2133 May 07, didn't he?

So, Yin, the pressure made you fire early
Don't care for the others, but if you read this message

you should have received it in time, otherwise blame the e-mail and prompt HMFIC to re-send
Brothelal
BTW, if we all take the few seconds needed to add the M.Y. in the turn sent posting, these misunderstanding may be avoided. thx

I'm not exactly sure how adding M.Y. in the turn sending post will avoid any misunderstandings. What is posted is no guarantee of what is sent. However, I will humbly comply.

AREDHRAN'S CHALLENGE IS BACK ON TRACK
I took the Believer's turn for MY 2133. Sent it a while ago to MoSe.
All the game information has been sent to Jimmytrick who will play the Believers from now on. HMFIC, please send the save to him instead of Yin.
Let's do it right this time, guys.
