I assume ViVicdi got the turn I sent him from home tonite. I wonder how MANY times he received it, I kept getting smtp errors and tried about 10 different configurations, but none error-free, so I thought he didn't get it!

Speaking of vacations... I'll be on one from 10:00pm 6/13/99 to 10:00am 6/19/99, all times are PDT. If, perchance, this game comes around to me in this time frame, please forward to Aredhran. Then again, at the rate this game is plodding along, you all probably would have never noticed. Have we even averaged one turn per week? If the game goes on for 200 turns, who'll still be playing 4 years from now?

Unite behind me as Supreme Leader and then you all will no longer have to be concerned with turn turn-around.

We can tell HMFIC is a real SMACer: he stutters like a voiceover "... turnturn-aroundround"
JT, why don't you come to Oktoberfest in Germany with us instead, 18-19 Sept 99? ( and anyone who's interested)

What about a new rule. If the turn sits with one person for more than a week then most recent sender resends the turn to CMN who plays the turn for the recalcitrant player, who just loses his turn. If someone "skips" two turns in a row this way then they are out of the game.
I mean really I will SMAC until my fingers bleed from clicking the mouse, but averageing a turn a week is ridiculous.
Hell, if ViVicdi were to post that he is in Tahiti with a half dozen super-models then I could at least deal with the silence.
I apologize for assuming the turn is stuck there and not with the seemingly always reliable cousLee.
The Game must go on!

Ok, I'm gonna send an ultimatum tonight, and ask for the latest turn (MoSe) to be sent to me again.

I double checked my folders, and I did play a 2140 turn. It was in a zip file, so i had sent it to the next player (Jam). I might have forgot to send it since I didn't post. If this delay was my fault, Then I am sorry. With Jam being on vacation, no way to tell if it's sitting in his inbox. SO,
"AC_2140UoP.zip 6/9/99 11:57pm" sent to the CMN.
Does anyone have a more current turn? (again, Jam is not able to check, cause he's getting .....)

Okay folks,
I'm back. I don't have any turn. Has it been resolved past the point where Aredhran played for me? 2140, I assume. Has everyone forgot to post here?

As per my e-mail messages, I took UoP 2140, and sent it to Goob. Then the CEO send me a note saying he was at the hospital with his wife giving birth, so I took Morgan turn as well and sent it to HMFIC.
I could not post here before, because the forum was broken (see note by MarkG)

Send it to me and I'll play it for you.
Maybe we should try to play backwards to the beginning!
I have a better idea. First one to disband all our bases, WINS!
Aredhran is starting a new game. Hi-tech Challenge. That one will run twice as fast. That will make it the second slowest game on Planet.
Ran across JAMiAM in the ACOL chat room. He told me he was UoP in AC. My neighbor! I DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER IT!
Last turn 6-9-99! Its not AREDHRAN's fault cause he's not playing, it's our fault cause we ain't playing!
jimmytrick,
(to err is human, to whine, divine...)
