HMFIC, if you had already played 2140, why didn't you say so when I sent these e-mail messages last week ?
Just to get things going again, I suggest you replay it, send it out to jimmytrick and everybody ignores the "reload" message (hey, it's not a cheat since I asked for it )
I should do a little graph for the turn average, but I think that would be too scary, and I would get nightmares

I can't really tell you guys how difficult this post is to write. HMFIC sent me a 2140 turn today. I loaded. It was a Spartan turn.
I sent him a hasty note to check and resend the correct turn.
Then I went to delete the incorrect file. As I did I noticed a file: 2140.sav. I could not tell which PBEM it might be, so I tracked it down.
Much to my extreme shame, extreme to the nth degree, It was the missing 2140. I received it four days ago.
So, well, there is not much more that I can say, until I have my foot surgicaly removed from my mouth.
Sorry to everyone.
BTW, please check the story thread as All is not Quiet on the Planet Front.

Thanks, borehole!
I am in great shape to play, hung over from last night's attempt to start a SMAC weekend party.
Can you imagine anything more pathetic than a bozo sitting all alone, in front of a computer monitor, drinking till all hours while trying to get folk into a SMAC chatroom?
I disgust myself.

Completed turn.
BTW, what is the magic event that marks my becomming a true man and causes my profile to no longer be junior civer?

HMFIC: Don't you hate this "Junior Civer" thing ? I mean, you play Civ games for umpteen years and when you register you're a friggin' Junior ? Gimme a break...

I know its a little off topic, but does anyone know how Goob & wife and new kid are doing? Last post that said anything was that they were all at hospital.

HMFIC... 3 to go
I guess I really should let Goob speak himself, but what the hell... He and his family are doing well, and our friend is now the proud father of a little Noah James.
CONGRATULATIONS GOOB !

I would stay away from names with the word GOOB in them, it sounds too much like the stuff they cough up when you hold them on your shoulder and *burp* them. How about HMFIC? Im sure around Goobs house, the little feller will be whether its his name or not.
(2 to go, but who is counting...)

2143 PK >> 2144 Gaia, this morning
I read a very preoccupying post from the cousin, in a bug thread in SMAC MP.
Is there any way we could manage the game to go on?

Sorry to waste space on something so trivial, but this is my 30th post to this forum and thus represents my transcendance from junior civer to MANHOOD.
I guess if I didnt lurk so much...
