The game is (hopefully) back on track.
I have sent the modified save to cousLee(after turning the Gaians over to the AI). The MY has been bumped to 2145 as part of my messing around, couldn't fix that.

With the Gaians being controlled by the AI, is there any impact to the game if couslee destroys that faction now? Also, if Gaians are allowed to live and thrive, the potential exists that in this PBEM game that is supposed to be all human players could be won by an AI controlled faction.

I don't think you need to worry, the Gaians have one base left, with no defenders, and I don't believe that our dear General will let ViVicdi (or should I say Deirdre ?) escape...

Has jimmytrick dropped without telling anyone, or is he coming up with more cheap reasons to not send on your pbem turns?
Or, is someone else at fault and just not posting here?

Sent Monday 12 July, 16:34 GMT.
I got the use to reply to an old e-mail message, not to insert the addresses every time. Well, I checked now and I see that last turn went to freewwweb instead of yahoo.
Not my fault, fault of the address in the message I got
I assume you check all your mailboxes, cous. Anyway, the CMN has a copy of that too.

Again, we're waiting for Goob's return, tonite.
I guess you were supposed to take his turn, if we couldn't bother the delay.

I have sent a resend to Goob at both addresses. I don't know if I should send to CMN, as well. Please advise.

I would have taken the turn, had it been sent to me
Anyway, as Goob is now back from his cool-off week-end, I suppose the situation will go back to normal.

I had sent the turn to Kent (HMFiC) on the 19th, I have now resent it and sent a turn to Aredhran.
Has anyone heard from him?
I have screwed up several things but I don't think this one was my fault, more than not posting that it was sent.

I have received a flurry of e-mails regarding that subject so dear to our collective hearts: "where is the bloody turn".
And I have received from Kent the declaration that he has played all the turns he has received and has anyone heard from jimmytrick! But he did not say which turns!
So hear this from jimmytrick: I have played all the turns I have received!
More specifically, I played MY 2147 and sent it out. It appears that the breakdown occured somewhere down the line. I do not have MY 2148. As soon as someone (Kent) gets it to me, unzip, plop plop fiz fiz, zip, send, oh what a relief it is!
So now that you know where I stand, you guys can stop filling my inbox with useless notes and start sending tech, as in Non-Linear Mathematics, so that I can kick Jammie's ass!
Jammie, your ass needs kicking, you know it does.

OK...I went to my e-mail client, went to my 'sent' folder, and there it was...a copy of turn 2148 (which is the turn I said I had already sent to Mr trick). So altho it isnt PROVE POSITIVE I sent it, it is a pretty dam* good indication...anyway, I resent it.

Yea, yea, yea, swift Swiss. I admit I'm getting a dry reaming from the dynamic duo, in Weizen. But, like I said, few accomplish it. I guess thanks are in order for the royal gangraping you and cousLee are giving me. It does, after all, prove my point!

I just love this game! Since I am not able to see into Kent's outbox, I can't argue about its contents.
But I have an inbox, and 2148 weren't there. Till it showed up and, golly, gee whiz, I loaded it and it said: (drum roll) Spartan's turn!
Is this game cursed or what?
Kent, if I had your password, I would have played your turn, then mine, and sent it out.
Then I would have laughed my ass off if it caused a Spartan reload message.
Honestly, I don't know how to prevent this from happening. I suggest we starve off our bases and just line up the first SMACX PBEM with the same players. I'll take the sexy cyborg gal. Kent can play the ugly alien mug.
What do you say?
