The following is a declaration from Lord Zod:
As of the year 2204, the Gaian Federation has declared all territories formally controlled by the University of Planet forfeit in payment for the crimes perpetrated on the Gaian people by the madman, Zakaronia.
Finding sufficient evidence that the UoP was again preparing to strike the GDL, I ordered University Base seized and this was accomplished. The Provost was arrested.
The Provost, who admitted that his defeat was abject and total, was not allowed to remain as provincal governor. Token UoP resistance is expected to be overcome quickly.
The Gaian Federation hereby states that any attempt by any faction to occupy these territories will be considered an overt act of war.
In the light of recent bombing raids by Hive forces against the base located on Mt. Planet, and the fact that the Chairman is now training drop troops with the possible intent of invasion, we clearly and without exception indicated that any attempt to do so will not be tolerated.

2204 to the CEO
whazzat, my troops are playing with the eggheads ? They aren't supposed to. I redirected them to Morganic shores. Bad things happened there. The poor guys were just a bit bored and high on fungal extracts.

2206 to Aredhran
You capitalist leech sucked me dry big time. 2 1-<3>1 AAAgarrisons, a 6-3-4 ship, and a 1-3-1 probe dealing only 40% to one of your measly missile choppers. Incredible. Youch.

Yeah, that was an incredible lucky air strike here. I couldn't believe I got away with it, I fully expected this chopper not come back to base.
I first roasted your interceptor with my own, then the first garrison went down with only 10% damage on my chopper. I expected to have to pull back after that one already, but with so little damage I thought I'd press my luck. The second one brought me down to 40%, and I thought, Missile versus plasma ship, I can make it (ship in port = 100% bonus), and it worked. Tthe probe was automatically eliminated with the last defender.
So long sucker Mwahahahaha !
CEO out
PS: I guess that means the turn is waiting in my in-box. Will play tonight.

Sorry about the reload. I feel so stupid because I pressed 'save & exit' yet again. From now on I'm just going to press the 'return' button.

I'm not sure about trading the islands, Chairman. So far, I have captured two of your bases and kept them (including one with a couple secret projects ), whereas you captured two, I destroyed one while trying to take it back and killed your drop speeder in the other (which, incidentally, leaves you with little offensive power)
Giving up yet ?

well, opposed to you, dear CEO, we regard our citizens quite highly, even then they are forced to live in occupied cities (Read, the Morganic Hell).
We do not have any plans of razing that was our own.

That's odd. I can't imagine what Europeans give thanks for. I can relate to the glutony, though
In any event, I should inform you guys that I will be away on Tuesday and Wedneday of this week. I apologize if I cause any delays. If anyone really objects I suppose we can have Mose play my turn. Just let me know.

Well, we can't have a Planetary Governor that fiddles while Planet is awash with agression.
A vote for Peace.
A vote for Prosperity.
A vote for Planet.

2211 on to the CEO.
The would-be governor obviously decided not to call for new elections. The Chairman is quite happy with Animus' policy so far, and would only consider casting his votes for the treehugging speed-freak under the most extraordinary circumstances, like the sharing of important defense technology for instance.
