Ugh I just finished a turn in ACT008 where there are a lot of people bombing the heck out of each other using gas jets. Very challenging but it is very nice to play a peaceful game like this.

What was it that George Dubya Bush said? Can't remember but he represents a typical American.
All those little puny countries are too tiny for me to remember . Go America

2135 to Enigma. That previous turn was played at 22.30 local time, I would not call that an ungodly hour. And your other remark just confirms the European stereotypical image of Americans.

Oh and P.S. we have become a 3 pager! Break out the nonalcohaulic beverages . By the way Paul I do not like Dubya Bush anyway.. I am libertarian.
Now I can hear what YOUR stereotypical view of an American libertarian is.

All of your bases look sexy to me Buddha. Since mine are definitely very unsexy, maybe you could give me a couple, just, you know, to help me out?

2136 to Enigma. And I don't have stereotypical views of libertarians. The news about American politics here is only about republicans and democrats; until recently I did not even know that there were libertarians.

You have never heard of American libertarians? You have got to be kidding. Well I guess they are quite a small percentage of the people, but there are quite a few people who vote republican or democrat because they realize voting libertarian is little more than a protest vote.
I assume that you Europeans dislike libertarianism because it is the opposite of socialism.
Mis I will gladly trade you some of my high maintenence cities bogged down with drone control in exchange for one of your booming, drone control maintenence free, higher support bases . And since you are governor the difference between base square energy between us is almost nil. You can pop boom your bases to size 9 or so while I have to pay for every drone with an arm and a leg and can't get above size 4 without shelling out big bucks for hab complexes. Oh, and have fun paying for all of those formers every turn! The minerals I lose to support will probably add up to a secret project or two and planet buster.
CEO Buddha has finally decided what to do with the minerals that Morgan Industries has been stockpiling for the past 10 years or so in a recent telecast.
"As a people we Morganites have always sought for one goal: wealth. We love money and the happiness it can buy. While constantly striving to improve our lives we have somewhat neglected our military. We must not allow our peaceful way of life to end, ever. Because of this I have decided that we will build a giant training system to increase troop preparedness and morale. This- command nexus- will allow our commanders to make the best possible military that we can. From now on troops that we train shall be prepared for battle!"
There are quite a few rumors around the media today that CEO Buddha merely built the Command Nexus so that he would not have to develop a military infrastructure and have to maintain it. "No comment" was all they could gleam from him.

37 -> Mis
Command Nexus completed.
Morgan Industries stocks are in another rally because of the new "environmental economics" technology that allows the company to harvest more energy from standard squares and increase greatly the benefits of their many forest preserves.
