My apologies for delays in posting information on the 1st 50 turns of this challenge. Initially, I wanted to wait until 25 years or so had passed in order to diminish the intelligence value of the report. As that time elapsed, it became clear that contact was imminent, so I hoped to wait until contact was made to write the report. Friday morning I was called away suddenly and wasn't able to return until last night. Meanwhile the game has been fast and furious.

I have asked the player's consent to post the earlier game stats here, and if they agree I will post them, and you can see for yourself how the game progressed early on. Sorry for making you wait so long.

Destroyed the Spartan 'firebase' off my coast. Huge cost to this episode, which comes to an end with the destruction (by disbandment?) of the last Spartan unit in Mong territory and of the Spartan Base in range of that territory. I expect an era of long range sniping to ensue for the next little while. Who paid the greater price in this furious little 10 turn war is yet to be determined.

i used my last unit to attack your closest unit then i activated the self destruction device so it wouldn't fall into your hands by way of a probe team...

i think you got the better end of the deal...you lost fewer units, you infiltrated my datalinks and you stole doctrine:air power and neural grafting from me, plus you destroyed my entire air force and killed two elite rovers and an elite plasma sentinal, plus you killed one of my bases

all i did was kill three small bases of yours along with a few units

and when the dust settled you now have more tech, more wealth, and a larger army, plus a faster tech rate and you are earning more money per turn apparently
