Anyone know what this happening with this game? I'm currently in 3 ACT games and they all seem to be stalled.

I checked with EternalSpark, and it turns out he retired from the tournament some time ago and sent me a mail about it. That mail never reached me, and he had apparently not sent it to any of you, which left this hanging. Oh well. He is out, then. Someone send me the latest save, and I will eliminate him.

Turn sent to Tau Ceti.
Oh, btw, anybody cares about the trash-talk I started writing here from time to time, or should I just do the quickfire turn notifications?

That explains the delay in two of my games.
As for the "Trash Talk", go ahead. I find it entertaining. Wish I could do the same.

Turn sent to Gaians. Seems like there's a little more room over there now.
Hopefully the turns will go faster now.

Turn to Morgan.
---
Despite the fact that we try to keep the nature of this planet safe, it is us who are not yet safe. Those small, squiggly worms still emerge from the fungus, but the latest specimen we have spotted will not submit to our trainers and biologists. Instead, our troops receive excessive mental shocks from their mere presence. Fortunately, our brave men and women are disciplined enough to resist the lure of madness. Yet.
Despite the disagreements of my advisors, I have decided to arrange a whole economic network between our bases, so that our economic ministry can supervise and plan the transfer of goods, energy and nutrients between them. Studies have shown that this could lead to a more rapid growth of our struggling faction, however, I am a bit dismayed to say that the ministry works at suboptimal efficiency, wasting precious energy for its effort. I hope the planet will forgive us for the waste of its resources, but we, too, need to survive.
Our com signal to the First Citizen EternalSpark has suddenly vanished. We have yet to determine whether this is a system failure or a deliberate act of aggression from the Hive to refuse communication with us. We still hope the Hive's non-first citizens are well.

Damn, my colony pod was destroyed by mindworms very early. I really hate them.
Now we poor Morgan citiziens could rely on only a base. Such a sad destiny ! We need to develop mines quickly to produce a colony pod as soon as possible. In the meantime my scouts are there to explore the surroundings: hope that midworms are not hungry !

Uhm, something went wrong there, I think.
I sent my turn to Henry at 12:00. He should've sent his turn to Nanuk, instead of me. I didn't get any mail for ACT025 from him anyways, so I hope that's what he did.
Oh, and Henry: Don't build mines on non-mineral-bonus squares. Build forests instead. You don't get more than two minerals out of minerals until Ecotech.

Pod lotto luck. One of the reasons it really pays to play Gaians -- no ACT faction pops so many pods. I even found my artifact in the sea.

Yeah, I'm just posting here to like apologize for keeping the game stalled...
But since I'm here...
________
"Porject DeLorean went very well. Our two bases succesfully "time hopped" to 3350. We had planned on going into a year a few decades earlier but the Wars were still goin' on. "Human peace" my bunghole. Well, anyways, we're finally here in 3350. Lots of empty land, little fungus, and a whole lot of enemy relics of the Wars. Our tech boys got all sorts of good tech outta those long dead bases. Super advanced stuff. Now, all we have to do is spend enough time here in the "future", make enough weapons and population, and go back to when we came. Maybe even before. Maybe even destroy the Unity before it even gets to Planet!
Well, I would talk more but I'm going to explore this "future Planet" - man, those boys sure did make Planet into a new Earth... shame they had to waste it.."

Mission Year 3350
Can you tell I've been watching Back to the Future Lately?

Damn, i'm desperately trying to recover from colony pod destruction. Still have only one base.
Joer, reagrding your early suggestion, I had to build a mine just to speed up colony pod building time. I had no 2 mineral producing square in the surrounding.

Turn to Morgan.
Forests give 1 nuts, 2 minerals and 1 energy, and are much more cost-effective at the start than mines (exception: on a mineral-bonus square).

Joer: thanks for the suggestion. As usual it is not possible to beat you on the AC knowledge/skill (btw I agree, my decision to build up mines instead of forest was not a wise one. I should have thought better)
