In response to desperate pleas from Markite citizens, elite Spartan tractor divisions are moving into Morgan territory to offer their protection to the population. Unofficial statements from farming leaders suggested that a change of government would be necessary to ensure the security of the territory.

Elite Believer zealots marched into Riverside today, after brushing aside the energy fattened defenders. Also elite Believer special forces succeeded in their missions, although the exact nature of the missions are classified we can tell you that they will hamper the Morganites ability to wage war.

The statement was characteristically short. Walking back to her greenhouse, the Plantswoman was heard to mutter "Who on earth is Santiago?"

The Spartans are pleased to report that Markite citizens in Morgan Transport voted overwhelmingly for the Plantswoman this year. Unfortunately, the post-election celebrations were somewhat excessive, resulting in the destruction of the base.

We have discovered that the Markites are researching air power, an aggressive technology that has nothing to do with irrigation or other acceptable pursuits. Enraged Spartan citizens will defend themselves against this new threat.

OK, this is my last turn, my dying breath, so to speak, so....

First of all, x-Needlejets are being produced in 3 Believing cities. I sincerely hope that all of Planet will unite against this menace.

Our people were dismayed to hear that the Markites have destroyed a base, rather than permitting their people to join the growing and ever-popular Spartan empire. "Our hearts bleed for the poor souls who perished" said the Plantswoman. "They were cut off in their prime, and needlessly deprived of Spartan farming techniques."

Elsewhere, Spartan diplomats called an election for planetary governor. We believe it is time for the Plantswoman to have more influence in global affairs. Evidently the current incumbent agrees, since he has already cast his vote for us. Must've been that Markite election pamphlet

An excerpt from a speech given earlier today at Gia's Landing by the Supreme Leader of Gai's Stepbrothers Noah Gai: "Today, fellow stepbrothers, we plant this Chivronian Oak in memory of our fallen commrade CEO Mark. Let this be a lasting reminder of his bravery and kindness towards our people and may his name burn forever in the memory of our people."

In other related news, Noah Gia, declared this week as National Gas Mask Awarness Week. Gas masks were distrubuted amongst the adults and children of Gia's Landing. Parents and teachers were then encouraged to demonstrate there uses with their children as well as participate in air raid drills. Spokes-stepbrother for Internal Affairs was quoted as saying,"This decade has been the most volital decade on Planet and with all these "would-be-Hitlers" running around we need to ensure the safety of our people, and ensure that we will enter this coming century with a proud face."
