Magnus... yes MSN does have some problems with email... I keep a backup Hotmail account for those days when the MSN servers are down... you probably know this, but just in case: it can help to change your SMTP server name to "secure.smtp.email.msn.com"
The servers aren't usually down for more than a few hours at a time... the record was a week, and they had to pay compensation to loads of disgruntled business clients!

A funny thing happened on the way to the market. I made contact with a faction. Popped up the diplomacy screen. There on my side of the screen was a couple of techs as if I had already placed them up for trade.
The thing is, I have neither of these techs.
