Am I missing something here or I just haven't get a single point for my second position on the scores?
Does only the first position gets point and the rest lose?
Anyway, Nanuk's score for Keygen's Classic MY 2140 is 10. If this interests you anymore of course .

Hope that list will appear on the board just like it looks now on my monitor .
For more on the rating system, refer to the Ladders topic by Solver in the AC-Multiplaying forum. And, here are some of the fundmental rules. All the rules are in one of my posts at Ladders, but I will include the rules here as well over time.
Initial ratings for the players: this depends on the highest SMAC/X AI level ever defeated by the player as follows: Citizen = 14, Specialist = 16, Talent - 17, Librarian = 18, Thinker = 19, Transcend = 21.
Delinquency rule: If a player doesn't play his turn in 24 hours, he is delinquent, and gets a next-turn from the previous player (probably CMN), to send the turn to the next one. Each time a delinquency occurs, the player loses 0.1 (one tenth) rating points. If there's explanation present either on the forum or in my mailbox, no penalty is applied. Explanation include things like lost Internet connection, Windows problems, etc. As in CtP, I have no time to monitor all of the rated games, so please, when a player is delinquent either post the fact at the respective ratings thread, or email that to me. I Know this sounds terrible, but as experience shows, it ain't that hard .
Elimination Rule:
Idea by Quinns.
If a player is:
a) Eliminated
b) Changes status in the game from rated to unrated
c) Gets end-turned three times in a row with no explanation,
then each remaining player defeats him 3 times.
Transcend Rule:
If a player completes the Ascent to Transcendence sequence, he defeats each remaining player three times.
At the moment, these are the ratings applied with the calculations, but actually, it's yet more of alphabetical luck here. However, I can yet congratulate Stuntman with taking over the first place!
Soon I will do more work on this, and perhaps I will also make the rating's history available for public.

Keygen, first you did gain some points thanks to winning Reggy and Black Sunrise. After that, you had a bit more points than Stuntman, but he was higher than you, and gains really many points on beating you. That's how it was.

You mean that the points I gathered from wining two people are less than the points I lost from one person?
Isn't the points from wining an opponent equal valued regardless the position of the player you win?
I haven't studied careful the formula I guess .
BTW congratulations Stuntman!!!

Keygen, read the formulas. It's not quinns, it's me. But I know it is correct, and so be it.
BTW, when I update it with the Alien Crossfire, you'll fall down even more.

Ratings update with the Alien Crossfite M.Y. 2160. Stuntman19 still in his first place, congratulations on keeping that.
Reggy, by taking the first place there, gave himself an excellent boost, and almost has overscored Keygen!

I would be happy to CMN a listed game. Can I use the Ultimate Builder map, or must it be random? I would like to allow each player to select their start sites. Any other requirements for settings (other than Transcend difficulty)?

What are you talking about DilithiumDad?
This topic refers to rating related subjects.
Was this post addressed to some other topic or are you interested on setting a new game as CMN and get it rated?

OK Solver, let me put it this way.
AC Ratings will become popular in the future as happend in the CTP Ratings.
So any post here would be seen from anyone reading often the ratings thread.
And a post here could be a message to been seen by many people and to attract them to what the post is refering to. Got it?
Of cource I was joking aroung .

I still can't figure out the scoring. Oh well.
Does a 'win' occur every ten turns? I was wondering, as I have no recolection of having lost a game to keygen.
Puzzled.
