2110 to Sister Rynn:
I am a 6! (Will be 10 next turn, alas. Short term pain, for long term gain).

I am in the lead here, I assume! Misotu, I only need your score here. Looks like I'll top the PBEM chart now .

Turn to Keygen.
Misotu emailed about the score.
And, would anyone please take care as to post in some other game threads to promote the SMAC PBEM ratings system? That would be great, as we currently only have 3 rated games under way, and I would appreciate anyone who would care about promoting this, to get the popularity close to what we have in CtP.

I know Misotu has been busy recently, what with moving house and all....might be best to wait a couple of days.

(sigh)
Found yesterday that Earthlink had been unable to change the billing address on my account without disconnecting my internet service. Although they *promised* me this wouldn't happen. The fact that this is all totally predictable doesn't make it any better, somehow.
So ... apologies for the delay, but Keygen it would be really neat if you could give me a bit of slack here. I close on my house today, and have to be out by midnight tomorrow. Things are really chaotic right now, but I am doing my best to minimise the disruption to my games. Nagging simply doesn't improve anything ...
2112 is now off to Big_C

What the hell!?
I am not nagging anyone here!
I always send a notification email to anyone who delay to play his turn with or without a reason to all of my games.
As game starter is in my responsibilities to keep the turn speed as fast as possible and I will continue to do so.
It is better to appoint a temp sub if you are about to be away or not able to play for more than 2-3 days.
Your reaction even if you have a reason to delay and we are all aware of it is not the indicated but I could live with it .
PS. I personaly wasn't sure whether you had received the turn or was too busy to play it.

Keygen,
Let's just calm down here. It seems there has been a misunerstanding - Misotu is currently moving house, and may not be able to play the turn for a couple of days. These things happen - best to just wait until she can play the turn, and take it from there. I know for a fact that she is generally a very quick player, and I'm sure she will play turns whenever she can.

Keygen,
You may not know Misotu so well. I have had the fortune of playing with her in many games. She is the fastest(or one of the fastest) players on the net, so fast that I joked that she must have a pager on her email.
She is also a very diligent player. She always posts in the turn sent thread, and ofter checks the thread to post comments or to check that the turn is moving along. I have got a few very polite emails from Misotu, asking if I had recieved the turn. The tone of these emails is always reserved and apologetic in advance for bugging me.
She is also one of the nicest players on the net. Always helpful, and because she plays so many games and wants a good "reputation", she is always very honest. However, she is also known to respond strongly and aggressively to those who are not honest, or who she deems not of correct tone. I value her opinions and outlook greatly.
I consider Misotu a friend. She was the first to respond to my first post in the MP thread looking for a game. It was one of the nicest emails I had ever received.
It is easy with these forums to be misunderstood, with the limits of the typed word, and especially if English is not your first language. You may not mean to seem young and brash, but sometimes you come accross that way. Even if you did nothing wrong in your own eyes, it is better to apologize and get on with having fun and making friends.
The less one does wrong, the more valuable is one's apology. Hopefully, you were trying to be apologetic when asking Misotu if she had played/received her turn. If not, better to do so now. If you were, better to do so again.
And just in case my tone is misunderstood, this post is not at all meant to criticize you. I give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant well, and the tone I percieve is because of the problems with this media. I post to try to help you understand that Misotu is the best, and to rightly or wrongly give you some advice on making friends.
Hopefully your friend too,
Big_Canuk

I know all these Big Canuk.
I had personaly congratulated her for her perfect, consistent and fast job she had done while subing in one of my games. The issue here is not if she is perfect or not.
I only posted on 8/3 and on 15/3 the word "Misotu?" and I emailed her the following on 15/3:
"Hi Misotu!
Have you received MY 2112?
Have you settled down on your new home?
I hope you are content with your new house ;-)
Keygen"
In my opinion it is just a normal email notification. I didn't had the intention either to apoligize for sending an email notification or discomfort her.
I had do the same think with Solver and we had nexted him and he hadn't complained about it. He had just said a plain sorry.
That's all!
So I fail to understand the deliberateness of this post and her more harsh email respond. What? Not to ask a question at all?
I am sorry but as a game starter I have the responsibility to know what is going on the game.
I also call to vote the 24 hour rule.
PS. I have made lots of friends in these forums, especially in CTP Multiplayer forum and I don't have any problem on finding and doing friends at all!

Sure it goes to Keygen now. But, for example, I wasn't at my home city yesterday at all.
