I read your thread elsewhere on ratings. You mentioned it there as there seemed to be another breakdown in communications!

I was reading the thread where you were introducing the idea of rating and there seemed to be some resistance to it. It seemed that some people in the thread had got the wrong idea from a posting of yours and someone explained that English wasn't your first langauge and you said it actually wasn't even your second.
My whole point was that sometimes your emails come across as being a bit strong and uncompromising and I think people can pick up on that and respond in kind.
Going back to Hutak (and not really wanting to explain him) I don't think he used a 'naughty word' AT you more of a description of how he was feeling. I can understand his anger in one sense as he had only been off the board for a day and he being reminded of his responsibility etc. I must admit I would feel several naughty words too!
Emails, hey! Who would have them?!

There was also huge resistance to this system in CTP, but now it's extremely popular.

Hey, Solver my friend! I'm posting here, since it seems you read this thread quite regularly
We are waiting for you on Strife ... for, er nearly *48* hours now. So less chasing Hutak, and more getting on with your turns would seem to be in order Last turn posted on Strife was 2125 to Solver on 3 May ...

While I'm all for reconciliation and peacemaking, and while I hope that we can all remain friends and avoid bitter internecine warfare (at least BEFORE the game begins ), can we talk about getting the game started while we are sorting other issues out?
One suggestion: instead of worrying about getting every setting perfect, just SOMEONE send a first turn out. If we set the game up with settings that aren't so good, we'll learn. After all, its a newbie game!!! This is the point of doing it!
One free tech advance to whomever identifies the movie from which the below quote is taken. One free secret project if the name of the actor delivering the line is given. One free planet buster before turn 100 if you can correctly identify the type of parrot the actor ownsj, as well as its ontological status.

I agree Radagast lets get this road on the show! (or something like that)
As to your little quiz I don't know but I look forward to seeing more interesting things as we send our turns in!

Sorry Misotu. I sent it to Keygen 18 hours ago, and didn't just post, as I rarely do there. Excuse me, but it's now 18 hours since I sent it.

Good question. I'm waiting for a command to start, if Hutak won't again critisize me. Ready to start at any moment.
And hey, got at least one more game to offer you, if you don't have it enough here.

I've created a new thread for this, and emailed the first turn. But, since it's SMAC, not SMAX, I messed something with the player order, and can't do anything about it. Sorry. I don't know what the player order is, as well. I will fix this next time, I promise.
OK, now refer to the new thread and enjoy. And remember, each turn ***0, post your AC score to the thread, please.

Why would Hutak have a say about it? I've just started my first MP game that Tau Ceti has set up and I'm hoping to have 5 or 6 playing at the same time. If you are setting up a game Solver, then I would like to be in it but I still very much want to play in Hutak's as well.

Starting in half an hours, I think.
You'll set up your passwords yourselves, but thanks god I know them. So, prepare to start now, I'll soon send the first turn, I think.
And I think you can play in two or three games. I got one pending, as mentioned.
