Funny you should mention that. I didn't think it was possible to get four from the same pod this early in proceedings

Worm coincidence - call me psychic
Well I may be behind on practically every sodding measure, but in MY2118 the Merchant Exchange is mine, all mine, mwa haha ha ha
Now. What to do about the rest of it?

'19 back....having missed the ME, we are down
Trying to work out how exactly you get an SP within 18 turns of the start of a game....and a still at a loss....
Oh well....there are more important things in life I suppose....like winning

Oh, it's easy to build an SP in the first 18 turns (she says, hah!).
All you do is scupper your pop growth, build almost no pods, formers, facilities or anything else useful, ignore Cent Eco until after Ind Auto and throw everything you have at it. Then you end up behind on every other measure but at least you get to see a video
Remains to be seen whether it'll pay off ... bit of a gambit but it's a good SP for this particular set-up so I thought I'd give it a whirl and see what happened .... It probably means that you take the next 2 or 3 best SPs is what I reckon.

Well, it makes things interesting, anyway - you are now ahead on the power graph, at any rate

Hah! The mind worms come and they fall before my very green scouts
You're ahead on *tech*, wealth & territory. I've been watching the pop stats, you definitely have more bases than I do ...

The ME should sort that out soon enough - in any case, you can always build a few more bases.

Very strange. I discovered another tech this turn, and Misotu was still in the tech lead?
Do you know something I don't?

I wish It probably means we're equal on tech. I'm not sure how the game chooses a name under those circumstances, but it will always claim one of us is leading ... 2123 sent.

If two or more players are tied, I believe the game will say that the last one in the turn sequence (in this case Misotu) is the leader.

Thanks Tau

Oh, take no notice. Building an SP always makes me wildly optimistic for a few MY. I'll be back to my usual despondent self again shortly
You have 20% more pop than I do. This I understand, but how come I'm leading in military? I've hardly built anything - only built my first former a couple of turns back
Thanks for the info Tau
2125 back to Mark.

Yeah. There's that indescribable feeling of joy when you pop that pod right next to your base, the one in the *ideal* location for a monolith. Or a nut special. And out pops a unity rover ...

True. Still, no more complaining about pods. Just popped one and got Environmental Economics!!! Never happened to me before ...
We note with dismay that the Markite faction has kicked off the VW, the blueprints for which were produced by Misotu scientists and copyrighted on Chiron by Misotu lawyers. :sulk:
