It always seems to be the second tech you'll discover frm a pod. IndBase, AppPhy and DocMob in that order....
Anyway, notice how yours came after EnvEcon

I rarely get techs from pods. Just the one. Almost always App Physics ... Anyway, you don't know I have Env Econ. I could be following an experimental beeline here

Yarooks! I'll refrain from too much jingoism on this board though, I think
Nice pop boom Provost. Not entirely unexpected, but we are starting to look a bit sad here ...

That won't last ... there's nothing quite like the VW for an early UoP pop boom, that's for sure ...

Yeah ... but I think having less than half your pop may prove to be a drawback you know ...
I just compared this game to where I was in DT7 at the same time. And now I'm off for a quiet lie down in a darkened room.

Absolutely. Labour get a second term, the Tories go home with their tail between their legs and the future of British politics, the Lib Dems, gain yet more votes. A dream election all round.
The future is bright

The future may be bright, but it isn't orange. Nor yet that luverly sunshiny yellow colour of the Lib Dems. I'm afraid people have been talking about the Lib-Dems ... um ... the Social Democrats ... um ... the Liberals ... ... as the party of the future for as long as I can remember now.
It's starting to feel like science fiction. In the year 2401, Paddy Jeremy Kennedy greeted an expectant nation with the words "Go back to your constituencies. For now we *have* that victory".
In the meantime, you'll be pleased to hear that my beeline went South and I still have less than half your pop. The worms are descending, the research is stagnating and we are not in a good mood over here.

I'm not feeling lonely here or anything, posting a running monologue on this game. The Provost from the Dark Side has initiated the PTS. We'd have thought he'd be satisfied with straight pop leadership, but no ...

My bee-line has evaporated for the second time now, so you probably don't have to worry
Plus we have worms chasing our poor units all over the map ... I know I should build some military. I know it.

Oh yeah, you've got to build some military. Give all your units empath....and high morale, just in case. You might want to go green, to control those pesky worms. And make sure you switch out of Demo - the support costs can be a killer.
