The pop-ups are gone again Tig, so maybe you could stay around? It'd be a pity to go for that reason, although I agree that they're an annoyance.
Hope you decide to stay

CEO TigToad,
Enough is enough. Why do you make it so hard on yourself ? You left me positively no choice this time.
After countless insulting refusals to trade tech as pact siblings, after shamelessly exploiting the trade treaty without a single offer of energy or other goods you havd the nerve now to send a spy foil right into the the center of the paranoid Angels' sensor grid ?!
Too close to our holdings, no time for another warning. Spy terminated, Morganite markets crashed, vendetta & blood sausage.
Unless, of course, apologies and generous gifts of tech and energy are forthcoming. Those sensors are not cheap, after all ! Generous meaning 2 out of the three techs you could possibly offer next year, and 50 energy or your map. Hopefully our dream-governor can help us negotiate an outcome....
Hackjob Florence, Chirons most groovy ex-pacifist

Geez, maybe if I said I was "Very Sorry" you will consider releasing my impounded spy foil. I assure you it was simply on a routine patrol, I didn't even know you had a city or a sensor in the area. We were simply doing exploratory work to complete our world map. Now that we know where your bases are located that information will be filed appropriately, of course. Future information gathering excersises should be respected properly or I will have to request the UN for sanctions.

Perhaps Her Hackness has simply reacted in the heat of the moment? The fun-lovin' free-info-flowin' Angels are not traditionally opposed to routine exploration ... An amicable resolution to what is, after all, a trivial incident would be welcomed by all, I'm sure.
2168 sent to the Angels.

Another blatant lie. We are aware that you illegaly plundered the Unity crash site, and therefore know the approximate position of all factions !
Us Angels would have no problem with any exploratory fleets as long as their position is announced every turn; as soon as you meet the requirements for a peace treaty outlined above.
Maybe you should have inquired on those terms before hiding the "exploratory" units in the fungus a mere stonethrow from the next base ?
Admiral Misotu is a wise pirate and promotes the amicable solution the Angels strife for. What is your take on that, CEO ? Are you ready to make a counter-offer for peace ? Otherwise the position of *our* exploratory forces will remain unknown, as well.

Er ... well, I was thinking more, you know, maybe the Wealthy One could grovel a bit to the All-Seeing Empath-Equipped One ... and then the two of you could exchange good wishes, smoke a bit of fungus and party on down?

oh Admiral, while being quite the fungus-friendly leader myself, that would certainly not do it.
Considerably parts of quoted wealth and superior technology were amassed by bleeding out the good willed population of the Angels by selling inferior consumer products for outrageous prices and pumping the profits back into TigToadite R&D. No one enjoyed their Tigtoad (TM) fridge which only works 5 days a week, lately.
The masses are understandibly enraged; the recent clumsy attempt at espionage did not help to soothe hurt feelings. They demand parts of their hard hacked wealth back.
Me, Hackjob and Archangel, promised to retrieve every last bit of info from the traders infonet. CEO TigToad still has the power to decide *how* this info ends up here, and whether trade will be reestablished or not.
He does not, however, have any power to stop the process. Maybe a leader who knows the full capabilities of our hacker network could break the news to him, carefully ?

looks loke the CEO is 100% content with the current situation...
2169 send to him.
P.S.: reload message. i fried one HDD this morning, mayor confusion with my drive letters followed. managed to run SMAX after some experimention, and hit "save and exit" rather than password. Smart move (yes, it *did* move all of my units) .
If things go downhill from there i might not be able to play the next couple days. arghh, its sunny out there, i'm supposedly idle and now the system went to hell.

damn it, did i lose data today The system is stabilized in a state of SNAFU, the rma request is out, grrr%&(§$&/U, finally time for some diplo...
agreed, Brother Cedronian should help negotiate a little. After all, he has the support of us all. Time is running out, there are already Drone riots in Morgan Industries. Shareholder value appears in peril
open letter:
Dear Admiral Misotu, esteemed pact sister,
judging from the recent position of your sole naval unit, Angel maps seem to be of much more interest than last time we discussed the topic.
How about an exchange of geographic info, so you could pursue more profitable venues ?
I suspect you have some information on Tigtoadite territory, and encourage you to forward my maps to him as well. This should accelerate the peace process between our factions as it allows the sending of emissaries to each other.
Should you decide to turn down my little proposal, i would naturally conclude Angel maps are of little interest to you and would naturally advise to remove your foil from my waters to avoid potential miscommunications in the future.
cordial zeroes and ones,
her Hackness F.

Sigh. You wrong me Datajack, you wrong me.
That foil has been there, or thereabouts, for the last six-ten turns healing up and doing me *absolutely no good* whatsoever. It is revealing, as I'm sure you are aware, nothing of your territory that could conceivably be of any use.
I am attempting to elude the latest IoD and will be thankful to be gone from this miserable, fungus-ridden neck of the woods as soon as possible.
Ones and zeros mean little to us by the way - pieces of eight is all we care for.
Yours, nautically
Admiral Mis

The irony. Data angels need a new harddisk. another reload "couldn't allocate memory" blah before i even entered the pw. Should have rebooted after SETI terminated with the same message. What to deinstall to make space for virtual memory ? ponder...
Doesn't matter, i lost the only fight anyways (against a Tigtoadite Mine, for those who need to know
Turn sent to the shaken traders....
You misunderstood me, Admiral. We are not the instigators on planet. The Hive and Tigtoadites beatifully fill *that* role.
We merely inquired why pactsisters can't share maps....
Still waiting for some sort of explanation here.
