Turns of AXT034 - Second Thread
2154 to XWaste
(OK, I know we didn't need a second thread just yet, but I was getting the dreaded "Cannot Load page" every time I tried the old one, so we were nearly due ...)

(and if anyone else reads thsi thread, could you post it's URL in the original AXT034 gameturn thread and announce that original one closed - thanks in anticipation - for soem unknown reason I always get the 'cannot display page" notice when I try to load that original thread - any page of it)

Now I understand why I was feeling so lonely on the old thread.
Been posting there for weeks all by myself - dont think I saw any notice about a new one.
Anyway - 2159 to Pk

2159 to XWaste
(and I couldn't post a link or even tell anyone where I'd gone as I couldn't get into the old thread - then in a flash of summat remembered to tell XWaste by email when sending last turn)

(And sorry for the reload - we had our first Cathedral City (Palm Springs) "rolling blackout" earlier this evening, and I had to use the laptop's screen light to find the candles and by the time I did it had gone into 'safe' mode and I'm the quintessential hacker so have no idea what that means....(fortunately it was only 40 minutes or so, but i powered back up from scratch) - I hate to think what it'll be like in the desert in the summer with all the air conditioners going full blast)
Today was the hottest yet - 95 degrees - so that's prolly why we had the overload.

And am embarrassed at yet another reload - am back in Vancouver with my desktop, which (I forgot) needs constant internet music streaming to fool it that it really is on, otherwise I get random feeezes when I get a smac pop-up screen.
The trun froze as sson as I opened it, 'cos the comm-link was open.
Stoopid pc - it's not long for this world, I guess (but, ah, to be on DSL again)

As Jacques has withdrawn turn is sent to Eric Gates:
ergates@mindspring.com who I expect to be taking over.
Welcome to Eric and thanks for your willingness.

Good to be in the game. Turn to Rynn I believe this is correct. I might need a little schooling in procedure but I will get it with some help.

Hmmm - the turn I got was for 2169, which I'd already played and sent on to XWaste on April 9th (and after downloading the attachment I had a Rynn 2169 and a Cyborgs 2169 sav in my gamefile)
Is the 2170 lost - in other words, should I pass on the old 2169 again to XWaste? or play the turn again with Eric's moves and save, zip and send that one?
Somewhat confused - even reading the thread doesn't shed too much light as I had trouble posting to 'Poly after sending the last turn off

I think you just pass on the old 2169 turn again.
Tell him if he already did it to just resend the next turn to me.
I assumed last turn was my 2169 as that was last post(and so resent it to Eric) but seems we must have been beyond that.
Resending will get it moving from where it stuck.

OK - I'll play the turn Eric sent me (there'll be a replay message 'cos I already opened it) and will send to XWaste. No matter if he's already played that year, at least it will get the game going again and Eric will see something he's familiar with when next it reaches him
