Well, as of now I still haven't gotten it from my email server, yet.

It's not my first PBEM game, but it is my first game with more than two human opponents. I should actually only count it as one human opponent that I have to worry about, since the other is usually my wife and I just can't bring myself to ruthlessly grind her into the xenofungus.

I'd like to ask if we all plan to hold to the Planetary Council way of things. Can we agree that if someone commits an atrocity, and prohibitions have not been lifted, that sanctions are imposed (for simple atrocities) or Vendetta is declared against them by every opposing faction (for the major ones)? Just as the computer would do.

Sanctions and vendettas for atrocities are automatically applied - the players have no choice in the matter. But of course human players are not bound to stay in eternal vendetta with someone who has committed atrocities against them.
