As of right now, my internet connection is dead (some critical failure with my ISP's hardware), so I will let all of you know if I will have to come up with a temporary medium through which to transfer turns.
Will keep you posted.

Just to let you know, I'll be away for a few days from lunchtime Tuesday until Friday evening/Sat morning. Apologies for the delay this will cause.

On to Misotu. Reload is because I still intermittently have the same weird problem as the first time- unable to right-click to move units etc. I am reduced to moving units via arrow keys. Weird, very weird.

Do you usually move units by clicking on the map?

I'm back, sorry about the hold-up. 2116 is off to xarathas.
Right-click to move units, I use it too sometimes. Though not often in MP, because the game regularly makes horrible decisions about the route ...

Might have solved your problem Hobbes - the "right click displays menu" box wasn't checked in the preferences. So I checked it, because I use right-click menus too
2117 off to xarathas.

Unfortunately, I don't use the right-click menus, so this will have to be done every turn.
Sorry.

Well, that seemed to have solved the problem.
? If you don't right click or use the arrow keys, how do you move a unit?
Turned to Misotu.

It's OK Anunikoba - once any player changes the settings these new settings remain for all players unless/until changed by one of them. So unless you actually change the settings (can't imagine why you'd want to disable right click menus) you aren't causing any problem at all.
It's worth remembering this though - one of the biggies is "always investigate monoliths". This is typically turned off for MP games, because it can really screw someone up in a battle situation if they're using a road that runs through a monolith, for example.
2118 off to xarathas

Turn sent to Hobbes.
Yeah, it's funny, but 'Investigate Monoliths' was on when I just played my turn. I don't use the right click menus because I always use the keyboard to move my units (no chance for the computer to screw up my moves), and I have memorized all of the hotkeys. You can still use the right-click menus when the option is off, just hold the 'shift' key.
