Hi all:
I whole heartedly agree we need to speed the game up to at least a move a day. You won't have to worry about the Drones meeting a move a day!

Turn to Flubber.
---------------------------------------------
I say we either ask Skander to step down and find a replacement if he cannot commit to 24 hour turnover; or dump the game entirely. Hard to format a strategy when you have a whole week to forget the strategy.
Is there a rule about quick turnover or posting to the turn tracking thread? So far, Skander has not did either. Should we file a complaint with Tau Ceti?

Hi all:
After having been in several MP games which I received only a turn once or twice a week (if that much), I agree wholeheartedly about posting a move at least once a day, unless of course work or other emergency situations arise where you physically can't.
Otherwise, the game gradually crawls to a halt when you have such situation. I have no hesitancy about asking Skanderbeg to move once a day or find a replacement player.

2164 to skanderbeg
I have no qualms about either approach-- As a replacement player I do not have much thought or effort invested in this game in any event-- If there were a replacement for skanderbeg, would that make 3 replacements ??
I am now in 8 games and most of them are CRAWLING-- I do know that in future, I may just avoid the tournament and set up games that have a quick play requirement-- When I set up the game that became "sealurk alert," I mentioned that I wanted fast players and I got it --- I have played 4 times in the last 48 hours in that game
If you wanted another game, we could easily come up with another "fast" player-- I will play with either of you two anytime--
So keep the game or scrap it-- but remember to let me know if you want to set up a reasonably fast game

Hi all:
It sounds like its up to Skanderbeg whether he's able to play once a day or get a replacement. I would prefer if the other players don't mind, to keep the game going since Randy and myself have considerable time already invested in it!

Gentlemen, I wholeheartedly agree.
Who wants to write the letter to Skanderberg? Who is the most diplomatic? I'm about as diplomatic as a hammer on a nail, but I will write the letter if no one else will.
Yes, that would make 3 replacements. Sheeze. Ah well. Radman, yes, we do have considerable time invested in this game. I would hate to see it go, but if Skander will not cooperate... then dump it and find another one.
Flub, I'm in 9 mp games, most of those are one turn a day games, except for Sealurk and another game that a friend and I have going. Want to take on another one with me?

Turn to Flubber.
Again, I pose the question. Who wants to write the letter? If no one else does, I shall. I'm tired of waiting.

Hi guys:
Turn 2164 received at 11:28 am and sent on at 6:08 pm. Both MST. I'll tell you all what, I'll forward a letter to Skanderbeg requesting once a day move and see what happens.
If you want to get another game going outside this one, I'd be interested cause between you and Flubber, pretty darn good turnaround!!!

Thanks, Radman. Let's see what happens. If he gets all huffy, we'll just take the case to Tau Ceti. If that doesn't work, I say dump the game, start a new one with a dependable group. Enough is enough, yes?

Hi all:
No response from Skanderbeg today as of 8:15 pm (MST).
I left other note asking Skanderbeg what he wanted to do. Hopefully, he's gotten the e-mails!!! Keep you posted once I know something.

Hi all and happy Thanksgiving!
"Foreman Radman looked around the residence hall as the troops ate what seemed nothing like the turkey they remembered so long ago. Waiting for an answer from the Cult seemed like an eternity because we felt it probably would not come in any event. As the group finished the meal of toasted (actually scorched mind worms), the only item they did not lack on Planet, they wondered how much longer? Time would be the only answer."
