Maybe so. I always try to post my turns because it makes it so much easier to track if the game gets hung up somewhere. But 'Poly has been so slow that it can be a frustrating experience.

2120 sent to RedFred.
Yeah Apolyton is kind of slow and I don't tend to post turns when I'm in a hurry. I'll try to post consistently from now on though.

I just received this missive from Iskandar:
------------------------------------------------------------
Guys,
Sorry, but my PC's trashed again, and after repeated attempts to install SMAC/SMACX onto my system, I still get a "error 117" during install. So I may not be able to play PBEM for quite sometime.
Try to get a replacement player for my faction. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

So, CRAP. I suppose we should contact Tau Ceti?

Sure. Talk to Tau or put in an ad for a new player. Let me know if you want any help.
Did he send the game on? I hope I never deleted my copy.

Well, I emailed Tau but haven't heard back yet. And no, he didn't pass along 2121; I'm still on 2120.

Looks like I deleted my sent copy. I still have the e-mail from when the turn was sent to me so I can use that (although there will be a reload message). Any progress on getting a fresh recruit?

Sorry guys...
I will be on vacation from the 8th until the 19th. I'll leave it up to you if you want to wait for me to get back or not.

Whoops. That one must have got lost somewhere in the murky depths of the net. Do you still want a replacement, or has it been too long?
