Unfortunately, I took some very big risks this turn, causing me to lose several copters. Even when the odds were well on my site, I still lost. Luckily, I had enough extra cash to have a bunch of new copters ready in the next turn or two.
To sum it all up, another turn has gone by as Kim continues to grow. It is only a matter of time until he gets power hungry and decides to take over the world.

2242 sent to Morgan.
This is sad. I am currently in 10 smac games. I have only received a turn within the last month from one of them, which is this one.
SMAC is dead. I'll just have to wait for Civ3 PBEM to get going.

2243 to Adam -
and sorry I did not see the mounting requests for shortening the game length until now. Its a dirty job, but I guess what must be done, must be done.
That is unless the two of you want to call it quits of course.
I have 8 games running at the momemt - most of them doing well. Very rare though is the game that does not require tracking down once in a while though.

I thought about conceding defeat a few times, but I like the idea of learning from my mistakes and while I've learned quite a bit already (never play SMAC Morgan unless you're certain you can get the Cloning Vats) I'm sure I'll pick up a thing or two by finishing this one up.

Morgan without vats is a pain (as are all the growth inhibited factions). In Smacx you can get a pop boom with a GA (tough enough but at least there is a way) in Smac one simply has to grow the old fashioned way.
Anyway - endgame has started. I guess we carry it on until Adam think its enough.

Agreed. It's been a good game gang. I've definetly picked up a thing or two along the way. Are either of you two going to sign up for more games? I signed up for a couple a while back, but I haven't heard anything yet. I'm also in a few other stalled games ACT045, and AXT054 or something, I can't even remember its been so long. Of the three games that were moving this was one of them as well as AXT031, which will probably finish soon. That just leaves me with BM03 that has slowed slightly because one of the players is involved in the military, I believe.

Sorry about the slowness. You are not forgotten, but I have some trouble finding the time to set up new games right now. Hopefully some should be out soon.

Don't sweat it guy. After I signed up for those games I was glad they didn't start right away because I got pretty busy.

I volunteered for a few more - besides this there seems to be an axt31 rematch arranged (though I will not do Morgan this time).
Actually I think there is only your (WE) feedback missing for a go ahead. Its on the axt31 thread.

I was told Adam surrendered but see no such message so game sent on - WhiteE eliminated and half on Uni taken over.

I surrender. That is my final answer.
I don't see any point in continuing the game, because Kim will win in 2 more turns, at the most.
So, if this game is rated, I guess Tau can mark down that Kim won.
This game was fun. I have learned a lesson. Never join another game with Kim.

Some day Adam you will walk all over my sorry as*.
May need to sharpen up a bit on how to use SE settings and creches to create pop booms and how to use crawlers etc. to boost energy output.
In the strategy section here on the forum you will find a lot of discussion on these points. Very enlightening and highly recommended.
