turn sent to UoP...
Well, Anunikoba, sorry to hear that. Basically, I think Deirdre is quite o.k., at least she respects Planet. Sometimes she can be weird, though. This kinda reminds me of our last game, where you had to fight early on, as well, while I was on a peaceful island developping on my own. Well, one thing I can say. If this is an island all for myself, it's defenitely much larger than the one in our game.
I won't be able to find a replacement for Easter, but it's only 4 days, after all. Worse is in May, where I'm missing out the first two weeks. I promise to go looking for someone to jump in for that time, even though I hate letting other people run my business...

Heh...what did you do to her?
Funny...why is it that I CAN name landmarks here, yet not in AXT-41?

turn sent...hi folks, I'm back again.
'bout my absence in May: I realize I have to let someone run things so you guys won't have to wait. I'm working on it...Maybe a friend of mine will take over. I know him well and I can give him instructions about my strategy.
Commodore, you are seeing me in 1st? That's crazy, I see myself as last(compared to you guys)! What's this? Anything to do with the colors and graphics thing maybe?

I always thought that the graphs were ok once you adjusted for the wrong colors (I figure that on the graphs I am still the Drones clolor)but I will have to look closer to make sure I was not misreading them.

You will have the same colour on the powergraph as you have in the game itself. If you are still unsure, you can check which position you are in the turn order (listed in the first post on the first page); the player slots are 1, 3, 5 and 7. Then just look at the corresponding column on the chart, reading from left to right.

quarter of a century complete, what are your summaries sofar everyone?
The Cult is satisfied with the situation. Our recon is a little slower than expected since we have not been able to enroll new indigenous members into our army. We have discovered a Fungal Tower, though, and have left it living, hoping it will provide cheap forces at some point in the future.
We have not met with anyone from the Mission yet, and may not do so in the near future since we have run into the coast in three of four directions already...

Turn 2125 to the Hive
report?? Well i just completed my 4th missle chopper LOL . But seriously . . .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Provost cbn reviewed the situation report before him. Explorers indicated fungus was abundant in all directions. There are few good base sites and the terrain seems relatively arid. The Diplomatic service reports . . . CLASSIFIED . . . Cbn was pleased with the rate of research and looked forward to the times when technology trades would be possible. Although the tterritory is inhospitable, cbn felt that there were possibilities for a strong thriving civilization.

Real life is intruding into my gaming-- I forget if I mentioned this before but . . . . I will be out of town on business (heading to Western Canada) and unavailable from mid day Saturday until sometime Thursday evening. I apologize for the delay but should have no other time away for several months.

As of right now, my internet connection is dead (some critical failure with my ISP's hardware), so I will let all of you know if I will have to come up with a temporary medium through which to transfer turns.
Will keep you posted.
You may ask, "How did he then post this message?". Well, I used someone else's computer, and I may need to do so to get turns until my ISP has fixed the problem.

I am back home tomorrow and should be able to go back to a turn-a-day pace. Sorry again about the delay but there is something about earning a living that detracts from time for gaming.

The turn has been sent on to cbn.
Starting Monday, I will be in the Black Forest in Southern Germany for two entire weeks. Contrary to what you might expect hearing the name of the place, there is a computer with Internet access there and I intend to install Alpha on it and keep playing this game throughout the time.
I may require one or two days to get going. Should everything go wrong and things don't work the way I hope, I will be organizing a substitute to play my turns during these two weeks.
