Nato Unravelled 2
Settings: Transcend difficulty, huge map, average conditions except abundant
life forms. Pods scattering, directed research, no tech steal, random
events, all victory condition enabled. The NU1 map has larger landmasses.
Each player starts with 4 pods, 4 scouts and 3 formers, on their own island,
within reasonable distance of their pactmate (Gaian + PK vs UoP + Drones).
Each has access to at least one resource within a few tiles of the starting
location, often with a second one not too far off.

I just thought that maybe it was a bit redundant to create 2 separate threads for this...
But then again, as the game develops it might come in handy. Oh well, I'll let you guys decide what to do with them.

And I echo TC's thanks.
(and great start position - five pods popped, 5 techs received)
(just kidding)

Thanks Red ... and I think 2 threads is sensible. 2102 will be off to BigC as soon as the Hotmail server is available again.
BTW guys, it's probably worth mentioning that I'm selling up and moving to a much smaller place in the next 3 weeks, which is going to be quite a headache. Not only will I lose my cable connection to the internet but there are also going to be days when it might be hard to play my turns promptly. Hope you'll bear with me until things get back to normal ...

2103 to Big_C. No problem Googlie, I quite like playing this pair of games separately. Gets very confusing otherwise in these early turns

2105 to Misotu
Sorry for the reload - took a phone call just after I'd opened the game - lasted over an hour, during which my laptop went into a sleep mode that I couldn't get it out of. Had to unplug it and take out the battery to get it to waken (don't tell Dell - I'm sure it's not the recognized way of dealing with it). Unfortunately didn't bring my manuals or anything down with me.
Oh, and I see I missed a quake (6.3) in Vancouver. Here I am, sitting literally astride the San Andreas fault, and Seattle/Vancouver get all the fun (thankfully no-one was hurt)
Been raining now for four days - desert hills are turning quite green. Nice (apart from the lack of golf - course has been closed for 2 days with waterlogged fairways)

As discussed in e-mail, I have fixed the problem and sent a corrected version to Tau Ceti. Sorry about that mistake.
NU2b restarts in 2102.
