Hive 2120

Emporer cbn was relatively pleased with with the progress of the Hive. Exploration and population growth was proceeding smoothly. Several new base sites had been located and the former units were preparing the less hospitable land. His major concern was energy production. Production was scarce and it was unlikely that large increases could be accomplished. This was negatively impacting on the Hive's ability to research new technologies and also prevented using an energy-rush to complete needed goods and facilities

Gaians 2119

Cbn was displeased wit the progress of the past years. Explorers had wandered in the desert for years without finding ANYTHING of value. Planet had appeared to be a desolate and forbidding place. There had been a recent glimmer of hope with the discovery of some arable land and colonization efforts were being focused on this new possible farmland.

University 2119

Chancellor cbn remained fearful for the eventual fate of his students. Although research was proceeding well, they still had little understanding of the pink fungus growth that appeared to be everywhere on this world. Attempts to enter it were repeatedly rebuffed and wormlike demons has appeared out of nothingness to attack without warning. The chancellor knew that to thrive, the university must breach the band of pink and explore the world beyond.

Standard map--Hive

Despite constant harrassment from native life the expansion throughout the Hive homeland continues. Exploration has revealed the shape of the nearby lands and further exploration is mandated. The switch to a Police State has increased the ability of the Hive to maintain many units without cost and current plans are to send out a swarm of units to develop and explore the land.

Large map -- Gaians

The land is arid but we hope to overcome this through terraforming efforts. Scientists are beginning to understand native life to a greater extent and worms are not feared as they once were.

Huge map --- University

" Technology is the key to our future". Chancellor cbn reflected on those words and the factional development to date. He believed that technology could overcome all obstacles but feared that those technologies could be leaked to other factions. He resolved to do everything in his power to protect those trade secrets from theft. " I also hope to build peacefully but I understand that the Spartan Empire is already bragging of their abilities to defeat all factions with their "elite" military. Hopefully when we meet we will have superior weapons and can win the day "
