I have forgotten to mention to a few of the newer Thread Masters an important part of your duties:
You must keep track of all the names of people who post suggestions in your threads. I know, "Damn paperwork!" as has been said in response to this.
But the reason is very clear: We need to give credit where credit is due. Now, if a person's idea is eventually dropped, we'll still list the name, of course, because even dropped ideas help clarify the kept ideas.
There have been some suggestions on how to make this an easier task. But I did it the old fashioned way by cutting and pasting into a text file as I went along. Perhaps somebody with more skill than I have can teach us how to actually use the computer to its full capacity? Please.
