hehe here's an idea...
Why can't we have affairs with other leaders.

I mean like, Ceasar and Cleopatra did, didnt they?

I think that would be kind of fun. hehe

Please, if you want this idea heard, post it in "Other".

Out here it will certainly be ignored.

More like this please !
Yes, after all male and female (and not only male and female. We must respect homosexuals ...)players should, like Cesar and Cleopatra have all kind of relations...
I am sure out there there are some couples alreday formed thanks to civ multiplayers through the net...Is there ?

You can make it a special event:

"Julius Caeser makes monkey love to Cleopatra. Diplomatic relations improve/you cannot attack this civ for 20 turns."

"Napoleon fails to perform with Catherine the Great. War is declared."

On second thought, I think this is a bad idea... ;-)

"You can not attack this civ for 20 turns"

no no no...This is not a board game...

What I was thinking of, is an even stronger alliance with the other civ, when the two are together.

Wouldnt it be cool, if your wife was suddenly being attacked, and you had to do everything in your power to save her? hehe
I know I would! Unless she was a nagging cow.
That would make things a lot more fun, in fact I would probably just play the game for just this feature.

hehe, that brings me to another point..Why can't we have Leaders with unique Personalities? Rather than just "Aggressive, Expansionsitic etc" Maybe this belongs in the Enviroment forum?

Oh well

Remember, pure improvement of diplomatic relations only has an effect on AI civs. It would be worthless in multiplayer unless it had some tangible effect (automatic alliance, even if you don't want it, for example).

Alliance through marriage has been the traditional method for Monarchy's, so why not, Maybee your wife/Husband would have to die get divorced before you could start a war with your partners race.

if you went down this line though, it would add loads of dimensions to spying, assasinations, seduction of leaders, etc. getting rid of your own wife in order to get a war going, could cause widespread disruption to your empire, possibly the succession of citys, to other empires.
