FORUM UPDATE
Well, still no word from Firaxis, but that's no reason to just let things here go nowhere. So, with Mark's help, here's an update:
** Suggestion forum is still open to everybody, of course.
** This List forum will be setup so only certain people can post new topics. This was an idea we had long ago, but life got in the way. So, if you are a TM, please let me know if you'd like to post new topics.
The reason for this move is to keep the List forum on-topic and decently organized. It would help, then, if TMs bumped up their stuff.
** Finally, the Summary forum will be made read-only.
This way, if Firaxis shows any interest, we will be organized.

Ooops. Sorry Markos. O.K. It will be deactivated.
M@ni@c: Raingoon sent me a mail already. I image you'd like to post topics as well? Anyway, things are just slow now, but once more Civ 3 news starts coming out, people will want to become active again.

Do we get cool new "Thread Master" tags under our names in place of "Civer"?
Seriously, I'm still around, but only twice a week on average these days. Although I did say I'd quit being a TM, now that the works done it's not so bad, so I can keep TMing... And I was thinking of making an all-inclusive "Links" thread to all Lists/Summaries so no one would have to keep bumping all the threads.
So what happens to the "Summaries" page?

BTW, I was thinking that what Dan and Markos should do is combine the "suggestions" and "list of ideas" forums, and then allow only TM's to post to the "Summaries" page. Face it, the posts on the "suggestions" page never made it to the lists unless someone moved them to the list forum themselves! Any new ideas there might never make it to any future "list"!
My two @@.

Still here, Yin. Still available. Mostly posting now when I'm procrastinating on homework. Like now. Really should study for that final tomorrow, I suppose, but I just can't bring myself to do it. You ever have that happen to you? You know you should be working, but you've been successful so far at avoiding the work...
Glad that the "no new threads except those posted by TM's" is going to be implemented. Not that I didn't enjoy ottok's company... And I think Theben's on to something with that idea about new tags...

Isn't it? What exactly is the point of this endeavor anyways, if not to influence the development of CivIII?
Here's my suggestion of the day. Can Markos set up an interview with one of the Firaxians to discuss the state of CivIII (and possibly Sid's pet project) and toss in a question or two about the list?

Well, I know Markos is watching this thread, so suggestions are welcome. Actually, I got a quick note from Blair that the file was received, but they are (as you can imagine) under immense pressure, so our list has most likely been shelved for a while. But I'm sure they will get back to it.

I'm still here too. And, as long as people keep finding more cheats, I want to continue to summerize them for everybody.

What follows is a list of names I am about to send to Markos. These will be the guys who can post new topics and should work together to keep things here in order so the forum is easier to use. If I've missed anybody, please let me know. Thanks.

Test...
So anyone can post to an existing thread, but only TM's can start a new one? That would eliminate the cause for concern I had before.

Since we are now absolutely certain Civ3 and Sid Meier's Project are different games and since it is also discussed in the other forum, shouldn't we rename the Civ3-General/Suggestions forum to something like New Games-General?

I guess that we will be having a new section in the forums and a new forum as soon as we find out the name...
except if we open a "sid's next big thing" forum...
