Long time since I built Cruisers, but I seem to recall they were pretty useless for attacking coastal cities with any sort of decent defence.

I think it greedy, but actually I don't need them in this game. This question will come up again however if spaceships start getting built

Spaceships have never approached being built in any of our games.
I won't be around tonight, BTW. Tickets to the - ahem - theatre.

The "ahem theatre", what's that? Porn?
Actually it would be nice to have a space race and your obvious aversion to fighting really does cool my ardour for military adventures. This is why we need to get Deity playing regularly again.

John Waters' "Looking Through A Glass Onion" tribute to John Lennon? Porn? I think not. Actually, the "ahem" was an affectation inserted in anticipation of an appropriate outburst from the Port Phillip colony.

Actually, I was thinking of going Fundy and having a bash at you. Except it would, sure as God made little green thingamees, turn into a stalemate. You'd nick the techs you need, fighting on small map terrains is a nightmare, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Tiresome and pointless, at the end of the proverbial quota of daylight.

Quick Ming! Archive this thread. Mr Mason is a rock chopper.
I suspected as much son - only a product of the catholic school system could be so virulently anti-catholic and stridently atheist
My guess is Christian brothers.

Close Horsie but no cigar, It does start with an M, changed name to the popes when it joined with a girls school up the road and became co-ed.
Finbar it is better to get the strap than the fistings you seem to enjoy so much.

Does anyone know what the worst possible reputation might be? In that other game of ours, "my power is supreme and my reputation is atrocious". Presumably the worst thing you could be called is "Howardesque".

Well I'll be darned....of all the people, you lot turn out to be a bunch of scandalous warmongers. I thought you were all peace loving tree huggers all about perfecting your civilizations and helping your populations prosper.
You guys must've been going easy on me or something. I was hoping to take advantage of that....

1. You write yet another job application for her.
2. She yet again misses out on job.
3. She's highly intelligent and therefore well aware of the pattern of failure.
4. Ergo, there's obviously another reason why she's getting you to write job applications for her.
5. Jeez, they work in mysterious ways, don't they?
