Great Things From Great Minds-Thanks Activision
I am patiently awaiting the release of CTP:2..I am a DIEHARD Fan of CTP...and I know I know a few problems But I am a BIG FAN of CTP!!..WAY TO GO!!
I love the idea of 12 units being an Army and then being able to name that stack........."Up to twelve units can be organized into an army, which you then control as a single unit. These armies can even be named to make them easier to keep track of. When a unit is given a destination that takes more than one turn to reach, it will, of course, automatically follow its route from turn to turn; but the twist in [CTPII] is that units with stored movement orders won't move until the end of your turn".......this is gonna be too cool!!
Keep up the Terriffic Work Guys!!!
You have had and will continue to have my support!!
I just have this to say..If all these people who have bashed CTP...were Grilled(um..I mean graded) on their specific scope of work..would they be able to stand as tall in the Saddle as they think they do?..or would they maybe more likely see that they too are a wee bit on the IM-Perfect side?
(Raising a Toast)..to ACTIVISION!!
Keep up the Great Work

May God Bless You!!

Naming armies? Great!
Let`s have "Heeresgruppe Süd", "Army of the Potomac" or "Damn, this stack must take the enemy capital"
I saw a screen shot of a battle: there seems to be a retreat option!
CTP II IS A MUST HAVE !!!

I agree ! I am really starting to love CTP2!
What CTP2 is doing with armies is really cool. But the other features are great too, like nuclear MAD!
Keep up the good work Activision.

Uh, I hate to be a wet blanket here, but the software hasn't been released yet. Activision could still roally mess this up. I don't believe they have, but don't swallow all the marketing hype blind.
Don't get me wrong, it's looking good, but don't go into a feeding frenzy yet. You still won't have anything to eat until Thanksgiving.

Yeah, otherwise we may have to spend another couple of years listening to people complain that they were duped because they bought before they checked it out first.
Personally, I'll most likely buy it, but I'm going to force myself not to for a full week no matter what the reviews say. Then I'll decide (and probably race to the store )
