"the game uses the same technology as Civilization®: Call to Power"
O/T: Don't mind me, this is my quarterly Anti-Acitivision/CTP steam blowing session.

Now, why are we being expected to accept this:

1) As a sequel
2) At a full game price

On one, how can they even call it a sequel when it's just a glorious patch fixing all the problems they shipped the first with (oh, except that Call to Power is in the package...)

And on the second one, why charge it at full price when many of the graphics, game concepts, etc. remain unchanged? I know Test of Time did this but MPS didn't have the balls to advertise it as Civilization III.

Where's the tangible product value we're supposed to receive? This game is simply a patch that costs $50... that's rediculous!

What kind of side-show carnie shenanegan operation is Activision running here? What frightens me more is that there are people that are going to hop out and buy this convict on the first day it comes out... did they learn nothing the first time around?

/fume and vent mode off
