The Latest Screenshots
Well, the latest screen shots are out and I have to say they don't really reveal much.

I am happy to see that the radar screen has a "Filtered" button to go with "Units", "Cities" and "Borders". I hope this means I can turn land terrain to a uniform colour on the radar screen.

I think I see desert mountain next to jungle. I don't know if I'm comfortable with that.

Did anyone notice anthing else?

One other thing. What are those zeros and ones next to the hoplite at the bottom of image 5?

Are those attack, defend, movement, etc?

I like the new formats of the great library and the build manager. Looks promising!

For those who are lazy to look for the link, here it is.

All of the screenshots we've seen so far (except two battle screens from Computer Games Online) have been from the ancient period or just after. Can we see some showing built up cities and the new emphasis on sea cities and combat? Also I'd like to see one showing the AI performing a combined naval attack.

There are filter buttons on the radar map for units, cities, borders, terrain (i.e. land/sea vs. all terrain types), and fuzzify(make units and cities stand out over terrain). You can also hide/show the radar map and the control panel.

hmm....city view....

Ah, for a good ol'-fashioned Civ1-style city view (nostalgic sigh). Hated the Civ2 version...

I`m not sure if I would like to see any naval attacs or screenshots from the late centuries.I would like that as a surprise.
Would like the good old city view too. After all,Civ1 and 2 has taken most of my civ time up through the years,so I would be happy to see that

Woo hoo! This is what I've wanted in CTPII since I made my own radar map mod to do it myself for CTP I.
