I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say yes. However, it also seems to me that Linux version will be released a bit later than Windooze version.

I'd guess that the probability of a Linux port is
very
high. But you'd have to ask the folks at Activision and/or Loki Games to be sure.

IIRC Activision would allow Loki to port it. So the ball is in Loki's court, they are going to decide whether or not to port it.
BTW Tribsoft recently signed a deal to port Europa-Universalis.

Yeah they could do deb Packages and put them on some FTP server so that everybody can download them for free
