Damn! I was just going to start a thread about this!
I noticed:
- reefs (screen 4)
- flanking and new backgrounds (combat screens)
- trade and terrain buttons added to radar screen
- swamps look more "watery" (screen 6)
Anything else?

Some thing I notised; the diplomat's look are not so different from a sheep herder's, the movement points were very huge (200.00) , you can request nuke, bio or nano weapon reduction while you reseach stone working(!) .

Let's get one thing clear here, there's a lot of confusion on this issue in several threads in this forum, so I'll mention it here.
The thing is that there's a differce in versions of the screenshots (some are from old 'builds', some from more recent ones) and these most recent screenshots are very old. You can see this by comparing at the earliest screenshots Activision released (e.g. this one) with the latest ones from Gamespy (like this one. Just look at the control panel (or whatever it's called) in the bottom right corner and the menu bar at the top of the screen. There are a lot of diffences. So these latest screenshots from Game Domain show a lot of things that are way obsolete (e.g. old unit graphics - such as that of the diplomat in pic. 5 and the settler in pic. 4 - and a revamped diplomatic screen - I don't remember where but I saw a very different dip. screen elsewhere). So these 'new' screenshots are not that new after all and seem to contain little usefull information.
Now, stay calm y'all, don't kill the messager boy!

The huge movement points were a minor display glitch. They've been correct for a while now.

Well, in that case: Welcome Pyaray! Always good to see more Actigrammers here May I suggest that you visits the 'Apolyton Title Shop' and get yourself an appropriate title? I heard Markos gives Actigrammers a special discount

OK, where is that? I looked and didn't immediately see it. I did notice my colleagues have titles, and I assumed that was done by domain name posted from. That's how other sites I've posted on before figure such things out.
Thanks,
Pyaray

Heh, heh. Welcome and thanks. Just wait until MarkG gives you a title. You don't have to do anything special.

Pyaray,
Well, all you would have had to do was email Markos or Dan so they would know you exist, but Markos beat you to it
Slax,
I wasn't really referring to your remarks, I already noticed those applied to the newest shots (flanker & radar screen gave it away ), but more to Nikolai's remarks as well as comments in other threads (about CtP not looking different enough, negotiation table, etc.). I guess I should have clarified that.
